Just2Good over on Eurobricks has posted the official box art for the upcoming LEGO Ghostbusters Ecto-1 & 2 (75828) set. The set is based on the reboot movie that will be released on July 15. It consists of 552 pieces with a price point at $59.99 and it will be available on July 1.

I like it, everything looks good, the mini figures look fun. Is it just the one set or are we getting a theme of 5-6 sets?
I believe only 2 sets. The other one is a wall of the Chinese restaurant headquarters or something to that effect. Not much details on that one.
Two sets would be very odd. I swear there was a press release last year (?) that LEGO had the rights to the reboot and were make five sets. But nothing is ever talked about and the sets would need to come out i about a month.
I want a UCS Stay Puft! I like this set – I hope the film turns out well so I don’t feel too foolish for buying it!
I’m gonna love this set! No, not because of the movie (obviously), but look at the base on that Ecto! It’s perfect to strip the top from for pieces and build onto the base to make it a Fleetwood Brougham. Come on, I can’t be the only one.
I figured I’d get this before I saw the trailer. Now I’m thinking I might have to group this with Indiana Jones 4 and the Star Wars prequels. Movies that are so bad that that leave me no choice but to block their very existence from my memory. And yes, the trailer is that bad.

Firstly, my apologies, I went a bit far.
Secondly, you sound a lot like everyone else on the internet who’s getting all whiny about the movie simply because it has a female lead. If you’re willing to judge a movie based on its trailers without giving the film a chance, that’s being closed-minded.
I really like this set and I like the new film. Ghostbusters!
