Wow… That Asylum is one of the nicest buildings LEGO has made in a theme in years.
Whats up with 2-face?!? Is he black now?
Potentially based on the version of Harvey Dent played by Billy Dee Williams.
Does it matter?
Yes
Why does it matter?
Because it’s 2016 and open racism is cool again!
Two-Face being black isn’t racist.
No duh. But having a problem with him being black is.
Guys, this is just like all the other changes in comic characters, like the Human Torch in the 2014 movie. People usually don’t react well to these changes, but are usually alright with them in the end. However, I must say that Two-Face being black is definitely a little different.
Yet no one complains about what color the other half of his face is…
Harvey Dent was black in Tim Burton’s Batman (played by Billy Dee Williams). So it’s not all that different…
I’m 100% in support of more character diversity, especially in toys & comics.
It’s not cool. Not even funny.
Did you not watch the 1989 Batman?
I really want to see how lego does the batmobile
…so the already-revealed Batmobile set then?
All of these LBM sets look AWESOME! Like, more awesome than the Lego Movie sets where everything is supposed to be awesome.
While Arkham looks cool as a building, we already have the last version of it. Nothing really jumps out at me otherwise in the set.
And considering the 1966 Batcave is still recent, the only high point to that will be the extra 3 Batman suits.
Oh dear Lord…I may have to get that batcave set just for the Penguin’s awesome umbrella. Well, that and Alfred…
Its confirmed on the LEGO Batman website cache: http://www.lego.com/en-us/batmanmovie/articles/batcave-break-in-3a4e083ef20b429c9341cdde25e890fe#?sp=400
The Batcave Break In set number is 70909
The Mr. Freeze Ice Attack set number is 70901
I Cant find anything about the Arkham Asylum set in the cache yet
I found other things using the LEGO Website cache like the upcoming rebuild images for LEGO Dimensions in LEGO.com
And if anyone want a proof about the set numbers: “http://cache.lego.com/r/catalogs/-/media/catalogs/articles/batmanmovie/test/70905-update.gif” (copy the link and remove the “s) in the file name the number of the batmobile set appear so is the same with the other sets like here: “http://cache.lego.com/r/catalogs/-/media/catalogs/articles/batmanmovie/test/70909-final.gif”(same thing as the other link)
According to FBTB.net, who apparently got their info from a Wall Street Journal article, “Batcave Break-In will retail for $99.99, comes with 1,045 pieces, and will include Batman, the Penguin, Bruce Wayne, Alfred Pennyworth, and two Hench-Penguins. Mr. Freeze Ice Attack will retail for $19.99, comes with 201 pieces, and will include Batman, Mr. Freeze and a security guard. And finally, Arkham Asylum will retail for $149.99, comes with 1,628 pieces, and will include Batman, Robin, Aaron Cash, Dr. Harleen Quinzel, Barbara Gordon, Poison Ivy, the Joker, the Riddler, Two-Face, Catwoman and two GCPD officers. Arkham Asylum will be a Toys’R’Us exclusive.”
My guess is that batman will have a different face print in each set
