New LEGO Friends Fan Designer Set Revealed

LEGO Friends Heartlake City Playground (41325)

At the end of last year, LEGO ran a Friends Designer contest and the the winner will have their model become an official product. The winner was an 8 year old from London named Sienna who’s submission would eventually become the Heartlake City Playground (41325). Heartlake Times has the official images and product description of the set which will be available starting on September 1. There’s even a brand new minidoll named after Sienna. How cool is that! You can check out more images and an interview over at Heartlake Times as well.

LEGO Friends Heartlake City Playground (41325)

LEGO® Friends Heartlake City Playground is the perfect place to have a blast with your besties. Centered around a tree house, it includes a climbing wall with colored holds and a twister slide. Push the functioning swings to make them go back and forth, spin the merry-go-round and make the 2 mini-doll figures go up and down on the seesaw. Help them take a seat on the benches as they watch Pippa the dog stretch her legs, then use the walkie-talkies to invite more friends to come out and play!

I must say, it would be awesome to have a mass-produced minifigure of yourself, especially without being a celebrity. That girl must be very excited!

It’s a minidoll and not a minifigure. But I agree, she must be thrilled. However it looks very similar to one of the friend’s mothers. 🙂

Did Lego tweak the design like they do with Ideas sets? i not, this girl is an amazing builder!

My daughter, Teagan, built the theater and was one of the 10 finalists. Her prize for being in the top 10 is all 25 Friends boxed sets from
2017. They just arrived last week. Plus two of the Performance School
for being in the top 20. She has already built the Fitness Club and the
Catamaran… with much building left to do. We’re both eying the
    Hospital to do soon.

The whole process was amazing, with over
27,000 entries. For an 11 year old, the whole month of March was a
whirlwind… including expediting passports, just in case she was the
winner. Very cool experience. Our local news outlets even did a few
    articles…
