Next up on our reviews of the LEGO Jurassic World Rebirth sets, we take a look at the T. rex River Escape (76975). The set has 199 pieces and retails at an atrocious $49.99 price point.

Minifigures
The set comes with minifigures of Teresa Delgado and Xavier Dobbs. Teresa wears a white off the shoulder top with a decorated pattern across the chest. I can’t tall what it shows since the trailer doesn’t give a clean look at it. Nevertheless, you can’t really see it since she wears a life jacket over it. Her double-sided head shows her with a smirk on one side and a smile on the other. Her accessory is a stick.

Xavier Dobbs has on a black shirt with the chest unbuttoned. You can probably substitute the torso with Ian Malcolm to give him that look with his shirt open. Xavier also has dual molded legs showing his jeans shorts. His double-sided head shows him with a stern look on one side and a scared look on the other. His accessory is a machete.

Build
There are many little builds that are included in the set. First off we have the Tyrannosaurus Rex which is the same mold as all of the other ones but in a new shade of brown, tan, and gray.

There’s also the little ATV that’s surprisingly big enough to fit both Teresa and Xavier.

The orange raft doesn’t have much going on buy it does have the green frog that LEGO likes to use for the dinosaur DNA.

Finally we have the little water build that includes a dock and the shed. The walls of the shed can be knocked down as the T. rex runs through it. Inside the shed is a broken dinosaur egg of unknown species.

The rocky area on the water has a play feature where you can launch the raft by pushing the lever on the back. The boat is clipped on slightly to hold it in place.

Results
Although the LEGO Jurassic World Rebirth T. rex River Escape (76975) didn’t get the adjusted price increase, it is still way overpriced for what you get. I believe most of the price went into the Tyrannosaurus and raft molds. The little builds are nowhere close to the price point and the play features are extremely minimal. Even with a 50% discount on the set, I would be hard pressed to pick it up.
