LEGO has officially revealed a new Chinese Traditional Festival gift with purchase set coming in January with the Prosperity Lion (40976). Releasing on January 1, the set has 411 pieces but we don’t have the price threshold yet at this time. The set features the lion you usually see during around Chinese Lunar New Year festivities. The Chinese Zodiac animal GWPs ended this year with the Year of the Horse (40779) which completed the 12 animals so LEGO will have something new for next year.
Welcome the Spring Festival with a colorful LEGO® Prosperity Lion, bringing Chinese tradition, joyful family building and a symbol of luck, strength, and happiness into your home.
Place either a wish for health or a wish for wealth onto the scroll, then attach the scroll to the lion’s mouth or display it separately at the lion’s side. The Prosperity Lion is more than a Spring Festival decoration – it brings joy, luck, and timeless Chinese style to your home all year round.
Bring good fortune and vibrant festive energy into the lives of adults and kids ages 9 and up with this creative gift idea.
This Spring Festival decoration stands over 5 in. (14 cm) tall – so it can survey the room and spread its good luck from any shelf or desktop. The LEGO Builder app empowers boys and girls to tackle complex builds with ease. With 3D digital instructions, they can rotate and zoom in on models to master building independently. Set contains 411 pieces.
