LEGO News, LEGO Reviews, and Discussions

A Sad LEGO Farewell…

It is with heavy heart that I have to announce my retirement from LEGO effective at the end of April. When I started this site back in 2012, I didn’t imagine I would have the amount of readers that I have today. This is why it’s hard to tell everyone I’m leaving.

The reason why I’m leaving LEGO? LEGO has always been a hobby for me but I also have other hobbies, some of which is taking up most of my time right now. I have always tried to keep the readers updated on the latest LEGO news as well as giving everyone some insight of the sets with my reviews. I feel that I cannot keep up anymore with my other hobbies requiring my attention and I don’t want to do articles that are substandard to my usual quality of writing.

Effective at the end of April, I will stop writing about LEGO news but I’ll leave the site up for posterity and maybe once in a while, I’ll do a post. I’ve been contemplating doing this for a while now but I think this is the right decision for me.

What will I do with all my sets? I’ll probably box them all up and store them in the garage and maybe I’ll let my kids have them someday.

I don’t know what the future holds for me with LEGO but I do hope you keep following the Fan Page as well as my Twitter for future updates. I wish everyone happiness with LEGO and enjoys it as much as I do and thank each and everyone of you for following my adventure with these bricks. I know I’ll probably run into some fans in the future. Whether it be in person or on social media, we’ll meet again so it’ll be like I was never gone. So after today, only 29 days left and I’ll be gone. Maybe I’ll come back, maybe I won’t. We’ll see.

My heart literally sank as I have come to love this site and find it the best source for all my Lego news. My thoughts were “What did LEGO do to hurt you so much?” … Oh man, you got me! 😀

This is the best site for Lego fans, I wasn’t thinking about April 1st, and it scared me a little. Good one Allen!
