LEGO Retiring Soon List – September 2026 Update

LEGO has updated the Retiring Soon list on the LEGO Shop and there are now 140 product items that are going away soon. This list is for the US so there might be other items for other countries that aren’t on this one.

Update: A ton more sets have been added to the list in the past few days since this was first published. A lot of these sets are already listed as out of stock or sold out on the LEGO Shop but you can probably find them at other retailers.

LEGO Botanicals Cozy Plants (10371) Revealed

LEGO has revealed a new LEGO Botanicals set coming this November with Cozy Plants (10371). The set has 248 pieces and will retail for $22.99. It features the continuation of the cute potted plants for the Botanicals line and it shows them reading a book and sipping some tea.

Add cozy decor to your home with the LEGO® Botanicals Cozy Plants (10371) building set for kids ages 9 and up. These decorative plants are cute, customizable, and make the perfect plant gift for any nature lover. Young nature fans will have lots of fun building their own peppermint plant and chamomile plant, each in a cozy plant pot. The brown plant pot is reading a book, while the purple plant pot is holding a cup of tea. Both plant pots have smiley faces that bring cheer to any room, and they’re interchangeable, so you can choose which plant to display in which pot. They’re also compatible with other cheery plant building kits (sold separately) in the LEGO Botanicals collection. LEGO August 2026 Sets Now Available on LEGO Shop – Huge Release Month!

August is now here and it is a huge LEGO release month on the LEGO Shop for various themes including the release of the LEGO Pokemon SMART Play sets. It is an unusually large month for us in the US since we finally get the rest of the summer 2026 sets for City, Friends, and Ninjago on top of the rest of the other recently announced sets. I’ve listed all the new sets below (hopefully I didn’t miss any) so there is something for everyone.

Gift with Purchase

There are quite a few LEGO August gift with purchase sets that will be running for the first few weeks. First is the LEGO Ideas The X-Files: Scully’s Lab (40896) which you can get from August 1-10 with the purchase of the The X-Files (21369), while supplies last.

To celebrate the release of the LEGO Pokemon sets, one GWP is the LEGO Pokemon Ditto as Squirtle: Movie Night (40887). This will be available on the LEGO Shop and on the Pokemon Center with LEGO Pokemon SMART Play purchases of $130 or more until August 10, while supplies last.

The Kanto Region Badge Collection (40892) is now back again when you purchase the LEGO Pokemon Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise (72153).

The LEGO Pokemon Premier Ball (30729) is available until August 10 with general purchases of €40 in European countries, while supplies last.

LEGO August 2026 Shopping Guide – Huge Release Month!

August is coming up extremely fast and it will surprisingly be one of the biggest LEGO release months this year. LEGO went ham over the past few weeks with their LEGO reveals for various themes as well as some that were revealed a few months ago. With so many sets to choose from the August release, there is something for everyone.

There are currently two known LEGO August gift with purchase sets. First is the LEGO Ideas The X-Files: Scully’s Lab (40896) which you can get from August 1-10 with the purchase of the The X-Files (21369), while supplies last.

New LEGO Promotions Now Available on LEGO Shop

A new set of LEGO promotions has started on the LEGO Shop including the return of the LEGO Star Wars Darksaber (40917). From now until the end of the month, you can get it with a purchase of The Mandalorian’s N-1 Starfighter (75442).

Another promotion that runs until July 31 is the LEGO Marvel Spider-Man vs. Anti-Venom Heist (30725) with purchases of $40 in Batman, DC, Jurassic World, and/or Marvel.

The last promotion is for the LEGO Straw Topper Set (5010927). This is available with a $65 purchase in Botanicals, LEGO Creator 3-in-1, Disney, Friends, Harry Potter, Wednesday, and/or Wicked.
