LEGO Colosseum (10276) Officially Announced

LEGO has officially announced their next direct-to-consumer set which is the LEGO Colosseum (10276). Releasing this Black Friday, November 27, the Colosseum has a whopping 9,036 pieces and will retail for $549.99. This confirms that it will be the largest set that LEGO has produced and takes over the number one spot by almost 1,500 pieces over the LEGO Star Wars Millennium Falcon (75192).

When you purchase this set during the Black Friday/Cyber Monday weekend, you’ll also get the free Roman Chariot set as well, while supplies last. This is on top of the other BFCM promotions going on including the LEGO Charles Dickens Tribute (40410) as well as the teal VIP Brick set as well as double VIP points. This is contingent that you get your orders in early and the promo items are still in stock.

Rumored Gift with Purchase Set for LEGO Colosseum (10276)

Earlier today, it was revealed there will be an announcement for the new LEGO Colosseum (10276) this week and there’s also rumors of a gift with purchase set with it. I’ve been told by a source that there will be some sort of freebie when you purchase the Colosseum but I’m not sure what it will be at this time.

If you didn’t hear yet, the Colosseum will be the largest set that LEGO has produced with 9,035 pieces. This dwarfs the LEGO Star Wars Millennium Falcon (75192) by almost 1,500 pieces. I assume the set will be labeled an 18+ set as pretty much a majority of the new sets that have released are 18+. It won’t be long until LEGO test the waters with a 10,000 piece set.

LEGO Italy Teases LEGO Colosseum (10276) Announcement

LEGO Italy has put out a press release of what appears to be the rumored LEGO Colosseum (10276). If you remember from a few months ago, we reported that the set would be the largest set that LEGO has produced coming in at 9,035 pieces. According to this press release, it looks like that has been confirmed. The image shows that it could be announced on November 13 at 3pm. It also shows a scene with minifigures but I wouldn’t hold your breath on that since these large landmark sets don’t include any minifigures but we’ll see. Below is the translation for the text.

Ancient Rome comes to life with the new LEGO® set!

LEGO® presents the brick reproduction of one of the most fascinating monuments in the world. This is the largest LEGO product ever made, with great attention to detail to make it faithful to the original and to enhance its timeless beauty.

LEGO Creator London Bus (10258) Amazon Sale – September 2020

The LEGO Creator London Bus (10258) is surprisingly still available and it is currently on sale for 19% off the retail price on Amazon. It is now at $113.28 which is the lowest price it has been on site which is also surprising considering it has been been out since 2017. I haven’t heard anything about it retiring any time soon but it’s still a good price if you don’t have it yet.
