LEGO September 2026 Shopping Guide – Back to Hogwarts and More

September is right around the corner and it’ll be a unusually large month for new LEGO releases on the LEGO Shop. With so many new sets coming out next month, I feel that there is something for everybody.

For the promotions, early September will have the LEGO Harry Potter Back to Hogwarts 2026 event which will run until September 6. The flagship set for this event is the Ministry of Magic – Collectors’ Edition (76476).

As with the larger flagship releases, there’s an exclusive item that you can only get with it. For the Ministry of Magic, you can get the Ministry of Magic Phone Booth (5011072), while supplies last.

Next is the Ministry Munchies & The Daily Prophet Stands (40901) which you can get with general LEGO Harry Potter purchases of $130 or more, while supplies last.

In the Insiders Rewards Center, you can get the LEGO Harry Potter 25th Anniversary Bauble that you can redeem for 1,700 Insiders points.

You can also get Dumbledore’s Office with Harry Potter (30724) with $40 in pretty much any LEGO Harry Potter set that is available.

LEGO Harry Potter Back to Hogwarts 2026 Details Announced

LEGO has officially revealed the details of the upcoming LEGO Harry Potter Back to Hogwarts 2026 shopping event. It will run from August 29 until September 6 with the freebies being while supplies last. The main flagship set for this year is the Ministry of Magic – Collectors’ Edition (76476) and there are also some exclusive gift with purchase promos that you can get with it.

Relive Harry Potter’s entrance to the Ministry of Magic™ via a phone booth with this metal display model for kids ages 3 plus. It comes fully assembled in a presentation box so kids can simply place it on a shelf, desk, or nightstand to create a piece of magical room decor. Slide the telephone box down on the stand and view the lenticular image of Harry Potter™ inside from a different angle to make him disappear like he’s entered the Ministry.

Next is the Ministry Munchies & The Daily Prophet Stands (40901) which you can get with general LEGO Harry Potter purchases of $130 or more, while supplies last.

LEGO Harry Potter Ministry of Magic – Collectors’ Edition (76476) Officially Announced

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Harry Potter, LEGO has officially revealed a new set coming soon with the Ministry of Magic – Collectors’ Edition (76476). Releasing on August 29, the set has 3,491 pieces and will retail for $449.99.

Like with the other Collectors’ Edition sets, it features a larger scale model of London with the street level being the Muggle world, the middle section being the Ministry of Magic with Diagon Alley and the Leaky Cauldron, and the bottom level showing the Hall of Prophecy.

The set will also have 14 minifigures including Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger, Harry Potter, Sirius Black, Kingsley Shacklebolt, Arabella Figg, Nymphadora Tonks, Arthur Weasley, Alastor “Mad-Eye” Moody, Albus Dumbledore, Voldemort, Lucius Malfoy, Antonin Dolohov, and Dolores Umbridge. There is also a Shacklebolt’s Lynx Patronus as well.

LEGO August 2026 Sets Now Available on LEGO Shop – Huge Release Month!

August is now here and it is a huge LEGO release month on the LEGO Shop for various themes including the release of the LEGO Pokemon SMART Play sets. It is an unusually large month for us in the US since we finally get the rest of the summer 2026 sets for City, Friends, and Ninjago on top of the rest of the other recently announced sets. I’ve listed all the new sets below (hopefully I didn’t miss any) so there is something for everyone.

Gift with Purchase

There are quite a few LEGO August gift with purchase sets that will be running for the first few weeks. First is the LEGO Ideas The X-Files: Scully’s Lab (40896) which you can get from August 1-10 with the purchase of the The X-Files (21369), while supplies last.

To celebrate the release of the LEGO Pokemon sets, one GWP is the LEGO Pokemon Ditto as Squirtle: Movie Night (40887). This will be available on the LEGO Shop and on the Pokemon Center with LEGO Pokemon SMART Play purchases of $130 or more until August 10, while supplies last.

The Kanto Region Badge Collection (40892) is now back again when you purchase the LEGO Pokemon Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise (72153).

The LEGO Pokemon Premier Ball (30729) is available until August 10 with general purchases of €40 in European countries, while supplies last.

LEGO Harry Potter Mini Hogwarts Castle (40975) Officially Announced

LEGO has officially revealed a new LEGO Harry Potter set coming in August with the Mini Hogwarts Castle (40975). Releasing on August 29, the set has 700 pieces and will retail for $39.99. The set features a microscale version of Hogwarts with Harry Potter and Hedwig and could be the start of a new LEGO Harry Potter subtheme with them doing microscale sets for various locations.

Magic fans aged 10+ can conjure up their own school of witchcraft and wizardry with this LEGO® Harry Potter™ Mini Hogwarts™ Castle (40975) building set. It features microscale versions of The Great Hall, Main Tower, East Wing and the Astronomy Tower. Discover the Chamber of Secrets™ under the East Wing and a hidden room containing the Mirror of Erised™. Display Harry Potter and Hedwig™ flying over the castle to add a magical touch to kids’ room decor. Set contains 700 pieces.

Last Day for LEGO Insiders Day – July 2026
