LEGO Harry Potter Collection Coming to Playstation 4?

PlayStationLifeStyle.net is reporting that the Brazil Rating Board had a listing (now removed) for a LEGO Harry Potter Collection will be coming to PlayStation 4. The collection is reported to include both LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 as well as LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7. There was no mentioning of when the LEGO Harry Potter Collection will be released but the Harry Potter Universe has been the talk for the past few months with Harry Potter and the Cursed Child play and book along with the Fantastic Beasts movie coming out soon. If the PS4 collection does come out, I wouldn’t be surprised if it also comes with some kind of exclusive LEGO minifigure or build.

LEGO Hints at Harry Potter Expansion Packs for LEGO Dimensions

Over on the LEGO Dimensions Twitter account, they just tweeted a cryptic video of a minifigure with the quote “Only I can live forever. I’m a true Riddle. Who am I?” If you’re a big fan of Harry Potter, you would know that Lord Voldemort said the first sentence in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 and his real name is Tom Riddle. This can only suggest that LEGO will be announcing Harry Potter expansion sets for LEGO Dimensions this coming Thursday. Whether or not it will be new Harry Potter minifigures remains to be seen but stay tuned in the next couple of days for the official announcement.

The game of choice in the Harry Potter universe is Quidditch. The first time we see a Quidditch game is in The Chamber of Secrets where Gryffindor plays Slytherin. In October 2010, LEGO released the Quidditch Match (4737) to recreate the scene. This set contains 153 pieces and retails for $19.99 which comes out to $0.13/piece.

LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts Castle (4842) Review

On October 1, 2010, LEGO reintroduced the Harry Potter series releasing six sets with Hogwarts Castle being the largest set. It contains 1290 pieces and retails for $129.99, a nice $0.10/piece which is amazing considering it is a licensed set. There are previous versions of the castle although I will not be comparing them as I do not own any of them. The set will feature four buildings and eleven minifigures and a lot of small details that make the set a must own.

Christmas Haul

Christmas 2011 came and went and boy did I end up with a lot of LEGO sets. I didn’t expect to end up with so much but there were a lot of sales going on and I had to snatch them up. My girlfriend also gave me a couple of sets as well including some great minifigs. As you can see, I did splurge this year. My greatest haul this year was probably the Imperial Shuttle that I got on sale from Amazon. Let me show off the sets individually, the front and the back of the boxes.
