We’re back with another LEGO Ideas update installment as we have a few new entries to the Second 2026 Review Stage. The past week has been relatively quiet as we only had three more projects that reached the 10,000 supporter goal.

Last Day for LEGO Insiders Day – July 2026

Today is the last day for LEGO Insiders Day 2026 and there are still some promotions available here in the US. The LEGO Ideas Sea Serpent (40912) is surprisingly still available with purchases of $180 or more. Other countries have long sold out of the set.

The LEGO Airplane (5010053) is also still in stock with $100 purchases of City, Creator 3-in-1, and/or Friends sets.

You can also earn double Insiders points for the following themes:

• Disney
• Harry Potter
• Jurassic World
• Marvel
• Sonic the Hedgehog
• LEGO Speed Champions
• Wicked

There is one set that you can earn 4x Insiders points which is the LEGO Maersk Dual-Fuel Container Vessel (40955). Instead of earning the usual 975 points, you can now get 3,900 for it.

LEGO Insiders Day 2026 Now Live on LEGO Shop

LEGO Insiders Day 2026 is now here and there are a slew of promotions going on at the LEGO Shop that runs until July 12. The main promotion is for the LEGO Ideas Sea Serpent (40912) with general purchases of $180 or more, while supplies last.

The other promotions is for the LEGO Airplane (5010053) with purchases of $100 of City, Creator 3-in-1, and/or Friends.

You can also earn double Insiders points for the following themes:

LEGO Ideas Sea Serpent (40912)

Back in 1992 when the LEGO Castle theme was at it’s high point, one of the sets released at the time was the Sea Serpent (6057). 34 years after by the grace of the LEGO Ideas A Twist of Nostalgia building contest, we have an updated Sea Serpent (40912). The set has 241 pieces and will be available during LEGO Insiders Days 2026 from July 7-12 with purchases of $180.

LEGO Insiders Days 2026 Coming July 7-12

LEGO Insiders Days 2026 is coming next week and LEGO has revealed some of the promotions that will be going on during the event. First is the LEGO Ideas Sea Serpent (40912) which will be available from July 7-12 with general purchases of $180, while supplies last.

The other gift with purchase promotion is the LEGO Airplane (5010053) which is also available from July 7-12 with purchases of $100 of City, LEGO Creator 3-in-1, and/or Friends. This set was originally available at airports that had LEGO Brand Stores inside.

There will also be sales during Insiders Days for select sets and we can also assume there will be sets that earn extra Insiders Points as well.

LEGO Ideas E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial (21370) Officially Announced

July 3, 2026 /

LEGO has officially revealed the next LEGO Ideas set with E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial (21370). Releasing on August 1 (pre-order today), the set has 1,226 pieces and will retail for $139.99. The set features the iconic character that can angle his head up and down. There is also a glow brick to make his heart glow red.
