LEGO has officially revealed the next LEGO Ideas set coming to store shelves is The X-Files (21369). Releasing on August 1, the set has 1,478 pieces and will retail for $199.99. The set was chosen last year as the winner of the Build Your Nostalgia – 90s Throwback! building contest.

The build features Fox Mulder’s office that looks like it’s underground with a forest up top with a UFO hovering above. There are 8 minifigures in the set including Fox Mulder, Dana Scully, Walter Skinner, Mr. X, Alex Krycek, Carl Busch, The Flukeman and a grey alien. There are also various Easter eggs from the show.

When you purchase the set from August 1-10, you can also get the LEGO Ideas The X-Files: Scully’s Lab (40896) gift with purchase set. The 221 piece set features Scully’s classroom lab at the FBA National Academy and has another exclusive Scully minifigure.

Another week has gone by and there’s not been too much news regarding the LEGO Ideas Second 2026 Review Stage. We do have a couple of projects that have made the cut but unfortunately with the recent removal of Dean’s Baby Supernatural, we’re only net one project for the week. The current overall total is still at 49 for the whole stage.

While checking up on the latest happenings for the LEGO Ideas Second 2026 Review Stage, one project has been quietly removed from contention which is Dean’s Baby Supernatural (TV SHOW) by SamSamSamy. LEGO usually doesn’t give any explanation on why certain projects get removed and if they do, it’s usually for copyright issues. As of right now, the project page has been completely removed from the site as if it never existed.

With this morning’s announcement of the LEGO Ideas La Catrina (21372), there been quite some change in the list of projects that are still under development. In the past few weeks, we had the release of the Sea Serpent (40912) gift with purchase set as well as the reveal of E.T. The Extra Terrestrial (21370) but there’s still a lot more to look forward to.

We’re still waiting for updates for some other building contests including Yu-Gi-Oh! which will be announced on September 10 and the Pokmmon Trading Card Game Challenge: Build Your Card which will be announced early 2027.

LEGO has officially revealed the next LEGO Ideas set with La Catrina (21372). Releasing on August 1, the set has 1,212 peices and will retail for $139.99. The set features the iconic character that is associated with the Day of the Dead.
