LEGO Ideas September 8 Update – Japanese Themed Projects Reaches Goal

It’s been a few days since our last LEGO Ideas update and a few more projects have reached the 10,000 supporter goal for the Third 2025 Review Stage. This update is more Japanese related and purely a coincidence in themes. For the Naruto one, it’s reached the 10k a few times before in the past so fans are still wanting a Naruto set.

LEGO Ideas Timeless Creation Vintage Sewing Machine Winning Set Announced

Back in April, LEGO Ideas did a Timeless Creations building contest to create sometime ordinary that can be displayed and the winner will become and official set. The fan vote took play in May and the winner has been announced as the Vintage Sewing Machine by BrickStability. The build will now go into production development and it should be available some time next year.

LEGO Ideas The Train Junkyard Achieves 10,000 Supporters

The Train Junkyard by Bricky_Brick is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The 2,655 piece build features an old train cemetery that is made up of some passenger cars. The model also uses 40 different colors from the official LEGO palette and includes 5 minifigures as well. This is already the fourth project to reach the Third 2025 Review Stage.

LEGO Ideas September 4 Update – Third 2025 Qualifying Underway

It’s been a while since our last LEGO Ideas update but we’re now in the Third 2025 Review Stage and there are some projects that have qualified. The third review period will run until January 5, 2026. We’ll have to see if the LEGO Ideas projects will get hit with viral videos this round or it’ll slow back down to a more manageable count.

LEGO Ideas Build Your Favorite Hobby GWP Winner Announced

Back in July, LEGO Ideas started a building contest to build your favorite hobby and the winning build will become a gift with purchase set. There were 15 finalists and there was a fan vote held last month to choose the winner. Today LEGO has announced that winner which is Build, Paint and Play! by Doomslizer.

The build features a miniature model kit that you remove from the sprue and put together. If you’ve Gunpla, you know exactly what this is. LEGO will now go ahead and produce the set which should probably be out some time next year.

LEGO Ideas Mineral Collection (21362) Officially Announced

LEGO has officially revealed a new LEGO Ideas set with the Mineral Collection (21362). Releasing on October 1, the set has 880 pieces and will retail for $59.99. 146 Projects Qualify for LEGO Ideas Second 2025 Review Stage

The LEGO Ideas Second 2025 Review Stage is now set as 146 projects have reached the 10,000 supporter goal. The 146 count was from May 2025 to September 1 and it was more than double the 71 from the First 2023 Review Stage. There’s way to many to list but you can check the link above to see the names of all of them. How many do you think LEGO will choose to become an official LEGO Ideas set?
