LEGO Ideas Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory (21360) Officially Announced

LEGO has officially revealed the next LEGO Ideas set coming to store shelves with Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory (21360). Releasing on September 15, the set has 2,025 pieces and will retail for $219.99. The set was the winner of the LEGO Ideas Third 2023 Review Stage designed by 2PPL/BRICKUP and was the second time it was submitted by the fan designer before it was chosen.

The set features is based on the original 1971 movie. The chocolate waterfall is able to move when you turn the dial in the back. It also has the Wonkatania boat that goes down the chocolate river and it looks like it is big enough for seven minifigures. For the minifigures, there are 9 in the set including Willy Wonka, two Oompa Loompa, Charlie Bucket, Grandpa Joe, Augustus Gloop, Violet Beauregarde, Veruca Salt, and Mike Teavee.

Inspire nostalgia for Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory with this LEGO® Ideas classic film set for adults (21360). A wonderful display model celebrating the popular 1971 film, this LEGO brick-built recreation of Wonka’s chocolate factory is packed with authentic details. The set also includes 9 LEGO minifigures of beloved characters to bring iconic scenes to life. Turn the dial to set the chocolate waterfall in motion. Place an Oompa Loompa minifigure at the wheel of the Wonkatania boat to take Golden Ticket winners for a ride down the chocolate river. Create brick-built versions of incredible sweet edibles, such as the teacup plant and candy-cane tree. Open the Oompa Loompas’ secret door

This is past my estimate of 120 last month during the big surge. With about 15 days left, I’m going to say we could see about 10 more added to the list but hitting the big 150 would be a reach.
