LEGO Ideas Third 2017 Review Stage Winner Announced

LEGO has announced the winner of the LEGO Ideas Third 2017 Review Stage and it really isn’t a surprise given one of the upcoming LEGO promotions is loosely based on it. The winning project that will become an official LEGO Ideas set is the Pop-Up Book by JKBrickworks and Grant_Davis_. This is the second project by Jason that has been approved by the LEGO Ideas team and is a great example of what LEGO Ideas is about. The set will be available on store shelves later this year. LEGO Ideas First 2018 Review Stage Underway

First 2018 LEGO Review Stage

The LEGO Ideas First 2018 Review Stage has now kicked off as the deadline to qualify for it has ended. There are a whopping ten projects that qualified for review which include:

–Embraer A-29 Super Tucano
–SR-71A The Final Flight
–Treehouse
–Stitch
–Modular Arcade
–I am Amelia Earhart
–Mystery Science Theater 3000
–Acclamator Class Assault Ship
–The Flintstones
–The Vintage Motorcycle of BMW R60/2

Which project(s) do you think will pass the review stage? Sound off in the comments below. In the meantime, the Third 2017 LEGO Review Stage is getting close to being wrapped up and the announcement should be coming sometime this summer. We’re also still waiting for the official reveal of the Voltron – Defender of the Universe set which was announced back in August. I have a feeling that it’ll be revealed at San Diego Comic Con as it is a great time to an unveiling.

LEGO Ideas The Vintage Motorcycle of BMW R60/2 Achieves 10,000 Supporters

The Vintage Motorcycle of BMW R60/2 by maximecheng03 is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The project is a replica of the popular motorcycle and it includes many features of its counterpart including the twin engines.

The project now joins the Embraer A-29 Super Tucano, SR-71A The Final Flight, Treehouse, Stitch, Modular Arcade, I am Amelia Earhart, Mystery Science Theater 3000, Acclamator Class Assault Ship, and The Flintstones as the projects to qualify for the First 2018 Review Stage.

LEGO Ideas The Flintstones Achieves 10,000 Supporters

The Flintstones by Andrew Clark is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The project features the Flintstones’ home but the main thing is the Flintstones’ car. It also proposes six minifigures: Fred, Flintstone, Wilma Flintstone, Pebbles Flintstone, Barney Rubble, Betty Rubble, and Bamm Bamm Rubble.

The project now joins the Embraer A-29 Super Tucano, SR-71A The Final Flight, Treehouse, Stitch, Modular Arcade, I am Amelia Earhart, Mystery Science Theater 3000, Acclamator Class Assault Ship as the projects to qualify for the First 2018 Review Stage.

LEGO Ideas Acclamator Class Assault Ship Achieves 10,000 Supporters

The Acclamator Class Assault Ship by Lucero is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. It is based on the ship that is used the Galactic Empire from Star Wars and was a big part of the Clone Wars during the First Battle of Geonosis. It doesn’t show the piece count but it did take about 60 hours of LDD designing to recreate.

The project now joins the Embraer A-29 Super Tucano, SR-71A The Final Flight, Treehouse, Stitch, Modular Arcade, I am Amelia Earhart, and Mystery Science Theater 3000 as the projects to qualify for the First 2018 Review Stage.

It has 230 pieces and retails for $34.99 and it looks like LEGO has added the Iconic Easter 2018 set even though you’re one cent short of the qualifier. LEGO Ideas LEGO Mystery Science Theater 3000 Achieves 10,000 Supporters

The LEGO Mystery Science Theater 3000 by JMaster is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The project is based on the popular cult television comedy series and it includes Joel Robinson, Mike Nelson, Cam-Bot, Gypsy, Tom Servo, and Crow. I don’t know much about the show but I’m sure fans of the show will definitely want this to become an official LEGO Ideas set.

The project now joins the Embraer A-29 Super Tucano, SR-71A The Final Flight, Treehouse, Stitch, Modular Arcade, and I am Amelia Earhart as the projects to qualify for the First 2018 Review Stage.
