Sneak Peek at Rumored LEGO Jurassic Park Visitor’s Center Set?

LEGO Jurassic Park

On this day 25 years ago, my favorite movie of all-time, Jurassic Park, was released in theaters and earlier today, LEGO released an image to celebrate the anniversary. The scene shows the end of the movie where the Tyrannosaurus Rex is inside the Visitor’s Center with the banner falling down.

If you look closely, you can actually see part of the Visitor’s Center in the background and could this be a teaser to the rumored LEGO Jurassic Park Visitor’s Center set? If you’ve been following my posts, I’ve talked about it on and off but there’s still no definite confirmation about it. One of my contacts says there is one coming but I cannot confirm it at this time. As we know by now, there’s already a 25th anniversary LEGO Jurassic Park set that has been released with the Jurassic Park Velociraptor Chase (75932).

Thanks to anonymous for pointing this out.

The new LEGO Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom sets are available starting today and if you’re more apt to making your purchases on Amazon, they also have finally listed some of the sets on there, minus the store exclusives. As always if you have Prime membership, you get free two-day shipping as well. Considering there are no promotions going on at this time on Shop@Home, two-day shipping is best thing you can get at this time for the time being.

LEGO Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom Sets Now Available

LEGO Jurassic World Jurassic Park Velociraptor Chase (75932)

The LEGO Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom sets are now available for purchase on LEGO Shop@Home. There are a number of sets to accompany the upcoming movie including eight for the regular theme itself, a three Juniors, two DUPLO, and a BrickHeadz. Like with the previous movie, I have a feeling that these sets will be very popular and expect them to probably go into backstock or out of stock status for while.

LEGO Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom Baby Velociraptor Playpen (30382) Polybag Official Images

LEGO Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom Baby Velociraptor Playpen (30382)

If you’re looking to complete your collection of LEGO Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom sets, it looks like there’s a new polybag that has shown up over on Walmart called the Baby Velociraptor Playpen (30382). What’s a big theme release without a polybag, right? It contains 48 pieces and retails for $3.97 but it is currently not in stock at this time. The SKU is 396761494 if you’re searching on Brickseek to see if there are any locally. This polybag is the cheapest way to get the baby Velociraptor so I think it’ll be a very popular polybag when it comes out.

Train your own baby Velociraptor with this mini LEGO Jurassic World play set, featuring a playpen, shelter, feeding crane, drumstick, bone and water feeder.

Two Exclusive Early Access LEGO Sets Coming in May

LEGO May 2018 Exclusives

The last important piece of news that comes out of the May 2018 LEGO Store Calendar is that LEGO has revealed there will be two new exclusive sets that will be available for Early Access for LEGO VIP members from May 16-31.

One of the sets that could be coming out for Early Access is the LEGO Technic Bugatti Chiron (42083) which was teased back at the Nuremberg Toy Fair. The speculation comes from the announcement on the minisite for the set which shows that the release date had been pushed up to June 1 for world release. This makes sense as Early Access is a few weeks before the general release of the set.

The other set that will be coming out is a complete mystery to me. From what I’ve gathered online, it could be the Visitor’s Center from Jurassic Park as it has been heavily rumored. As we know by now, we’re already getting a Walmart exclusive 25th anniversary set called the Jurassic park Velociraptor Chase (75932) and there’s talk that it could somehow connect to the Visitor’s Center. But again, these are just rumors so we’ll get the information of the second Early Access set later this month or early next month.

What are your guesses on what the exclusives that will be coming out next month early for VIPs? Let us know in the comments below.

LEGO Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom Sets Releasing April 16

LEGO Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom

Get your wallets ready! The Spring 2018 LEGO Store Catalogs are now showing up in mailboxes for those who are still getting mail and inside we get more information of some of the upcoming set releases. For the LEGO Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom sets, we’ve gotten a general mid-April release date for them but the catalog finally gives a firm release date for them as next Monday, April 16, at least here in the US.

Hopefully, LEGO has learned their lesson from the previous LEGO Jurassic World sets and made enough to go around as a few sets from the last wave had pretty limited quantities. I have a feeling that a few of these sets will be very popular among fans including the classic Jurassic Park set. Below are the LEGO Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom sets that will be coming out next week.

LEGO Jurassic World T. rex Transport (75933)

You may have thought that you’ve seen all of the LEGO Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom sets but Walmart has another set that we haven’t had an official image of which is the T. rex Transport (75933). Yes, there was an image of the set on eBay but I didn’t want to report on that earlier. It has 609 pieces but the price point is still a mystery at this time. The minifigures in the set include Zia Rodriguez and two guards but you also get a baby dino as well as a full-sized T-Rex. This set was thought to be a Toys R Us exclusive but it looks like it’ll be available at Walmart as well as on Shop@Home.

Track the Tyrannosaurus Rex in this big-action play set scene inspired by Jurassic World and return it to the transporter, featuring a single-seater truck, detachable container with opening and lockable side panels, and a mobile laboratory unit.

This T. rex toy includes 3 minifigures and 2 dinosaur figures.
