Images of the new LEGO Collectible Minifigures Series 10 may have been leaked on Idle Hands. As we reported last November, there are images of pieces that were pulled from Brickset’s database. Some nifty users on Eurobricks combined similar pieces to create what looks to be a complete minifigure. On Idle Hands’ image, you can clearly see the poster for Series 10 which are accurate to what we saw on Eurobricks. To sweeten the pot, there is also a list of Series 11 minifigures. There’s no confirmation of these yet but Idle states that Action Figure Insider is “99.9%” sure that this is the list for both series.

If you’ve been wanting to get your hands on the golden minifigures from Series 10, it looks like your chances are now harder. Announced at the London Toy Fair, these minifigures will be inserted into random packs. Flickr user, Ultron32’s image, we now know there will only be 5000 of these exclusive minifigures which means they will be going for a very high sum on the secondary market. It image also states these next waves will be somewhat connected to various themes throughout the year. That statement probably means that there will be a Series 12 in line as well. We’ll just have to wait and see how these new golden minifigs will impact the market. Will you be trying to pick up one of these minifigures?
LEGO Minifigures have returned with all new collectable characters to inspire and create new play scenarios! LEGO Minifigures are a high frequency LEGO icon with a low price point as a key driver for collectability.

With the Series 9 LEGO Collectible Minifigures not even out yet, we might have some clues on what the Series 10 minifigures could be. Aanchir on Eurobricks has found out some new images of some pieces from Brickset’s parts database that didn’t fit into any current sets or any upcoming sets that we know about. Further along in the thread, you can see a few of the pieces assembled into their respective minifigures. Notice there is a 17th character in the listing with some speculation that one of the minifigures will be the free exclusive in the upcoming LEGO Minifigures: Character Encyclopedia. If this is true, these minifigs will be packaged in the gold polybags and will be released sometime in 2013.
Bee Costume Woman
Pierrot/Old Style Clown

Update 1: ReZourceman has compiled all the new relevant pieces to create whole minfigures in the series. The names are also updated to what the figures appear as and not what the final names will be.
Update 2: The Daily Brick has released the official names of the Series 10 Collectible Minifigures and will have set number 71001.
