LEGO Updates Retiring Soon List – September 2025

The LEGO Shop has updated their list of sets that are Retiring Soon and currently there are over 100 sets that are scheduled to be done by the end of the year. A majority of the sets are older ones but there are also some that are pretty recent including the One Piece BrickHeadz. Of course this is not the end all, be all list of sets that will be retiring as LEGO will usually update it.

Last Day for Double Insiders Points – August 2025

The new LEGO Ideas Italian Riviera (21359) is now available for purchase to LEGO Insiders. The 3,251 piece set retails for $299.99 and from now until August 13, you can get the Italian Market Van (5009422) as a gift with purchase.

For Europe and the UK as a separate promotion, there’s also the LEGO DREAMZzz Cooper’s Flying Controller Mini Build (30698) polybag which LEGO has brought back from June. LEGO Ninjago Dragons Rising Season 3 Trailer

LEGO has released the official trailer for Season 3 of LEGO Ninjago Dragons Rising. This is the exact same trailer that we got to see early during San Diego Comic Con a few weeks ago. This season continues the story of Thungerfang and the Forbidden Five. There’s no release date listed for the show but it’s been long reported that it could come as soon as September.

Tune in as the Ninja search for their missing teammates. Meanwhile, the Forbidden Five, now freed, are determined to unlock the source of their power — a chaos dragon named Thunderfang, imprisoned beneath the First Land. The Five are hunting for the five Prismatic Blades that can unleash Thunderfang and destroy the Merged Lands. With even greater danger ahead, the Ninja face their biggest challenge yet!

LEGO August 2025 Sets Available on LEGO Shop

August is now here and the new summer 2025 LEGO sets are now available on the LEGO Shop. There’s so many sets releasing this month that there’s something for everyone after a couple of rather quiet months. In fact, there are over 90 new sets that have dropped for North America.

The highly anticipated LEGO One Piece sets are now here which are the first sets that I’m buying along with the Transformers Soundwave (10358).

For the promotions, the main one is the LEGO Fortnite BrickHeadz Adventure Peely & Cuddle Team Leader (40760) which is available from August 1-11 with general purchases of $130 so it’s pretty easy to get. It’s almost August and that means it’s one of the biggest LEGO release days of the year for the summer 2025 sets. This includes the introduction of the LEGO One Piece theme which I’m very excited about. There’s also a lot of other sets that I’m very interested in but my wallet won’t like it such as the Transformers Soundwave (10358) and the Batman Forever Batmobile (76304). All in all, there’s over at least 90 sets that will be dropping in this wave here in North America.

LEGO San Diego Comic Con 2025 Recap

San Diego Comic Con 2025 has come and gone and we can now do a recap on the LEGO happens during the event. Before it started, LEGO announced a few new sets that will be coming in the next few months. These include the LEGO Nintendo Game Boy (72046), LEGO DC Batman Arkham Asylum (76300), a new wave of LEGO Wicked sets, and the LEGO Stranger Things BrickHeadz Mike, Dustin, Lucas and Will (40801). All of the sets were displayed on the outer edges at the LEGO Booth.

Speaking of the LEGO Booth, they were one of the main highlights of the whole event with the recreation of the convention center. It was made up of over 200,000 LEGO elements and has over 8,000 minifigures that are placed inside. It took 16 builders over 1,500 hours to create the masterpiece. You can still check out the booth at home by doing a Virtual Booth Tour.

If you try out the interactive zone of the booth, fans were able to build their own version of a booth and if they were good enough, they would be placed inside the brick-built convention center.

As for the exclusives, there was a lot of stuff available even though they weren’t the sets and minifigures from years past. The main ones were the Pop Badges that you can get each day which included LEGO Ninjago Legends Monstrosity, LEGO One Piece, LEGO DC, and LEGO Wicked.
