LEGO Year of the Rabbit (40575) Revealed

LEGO Japan has revealed the LEGO Year of the Rabbit (40575) that is for the upcoming Chinese/Lunar New Year promotion. Over there, you have to spend 9,900 yen to get it but it’ll most likely be a $80+ requirement here in the US. There’s no word yet on when it will be available here but it’s usually around the beginning of the year.

LEGO Lunar New Year 2023 Sets Available on LEGO Shop – UK/Europe

It’s Christmas day and coincidentally is also launch day for the LEGO Lunar New Year sets in the UK and Europe. The sets won’t be available in the Asia Pacific region until January 1 and North America won’t get them until January 10.

LEGO Seasonal Santa’s Workshop (40565) Official Images

The official images of the upcoming LEGO Seasonal Santa’s Workshop (40565) are now available and there are also details on how to get it. From December 1-24, you can get it for free with purchases of $150/£150/€150, while supplies last.

The 329 piece set is able to connect to the Winter Elves Scene (40564) which was available during the VIP Weekend and Black Friday shopping events. It is a little smaller than the other set and maybe that’s why the price threshold is also a bit cheaper to get.

LEGO Seasonal Santa’s Workshop (40565) GWP First Look

In the instructions for the LEGO Seasonal Winter Elves Scene (40564) promotional set, we have a first look at the upcoming Santa’s Workshop (40565). Although it’s a little hard to see the inside of the workshop, we can see that both sets can be pushed together to create a larger scene.

There are no details yet on how to get Santa’s Workshop (40565) but it’ll most likely be a promo set in December since it looks like all of the promotions have been revealed for this year’s Black Friday shopping event.

LEGO Chinese Traditional Festival 2023 Sets Revealed

The 5th China International Import Expo (CIIE) happened overnight and LEGO has revealed some sets inspired by Chinese culture including the upcoming Lunar New Year 2023 sets. All the sets will be available on Christmas, December 25 in China and other markets. Most likely, North America will get them early 2023.

The LEGO Group has revealed five new LEGO® sets with inspiration from Chinese culture and traditions at the 5th China International Import Expo (CIIE) today. This represents the fifth consecutive year that the company debuted novelties with rich Chinese elements at the expo.

The new sets include:
LEGO® Lunar New Year Display (80110) has two exquisite models capturing many iconic traditional festive symbols. One model has buildable golden ingots in the traditional Yuan Bao design, koi fish for good luck, red pockets symbolizing good wishes, and the “Zhao Cai Jin Bao” greeting that welcomes fortune and treasures into the home. The other model has buildable peony flowers with the “Hua Kai Fu Gui” greeting, meaning blooming prosperity and happiness.
