LEGO August 2026 Shopping Guide – Huge Release Month!

August is coming up extremely fast and it will surprisingly be one of the biggest LEGO release months this year. LEGO went ham over the past few weeks with their LEGO reveals for various themes as well as some that were revealed a few months ago. With so many sets to choose from the August release, there is something for everyone.

There are currently two known LEGO August gift with purchase sets. First is the LEGO Ideas The X-Files: Scully’s Lab (40896) which you can get from August 1-10 with the purchase of the The X-Files (21369), while supplies last.

The other gift with purchase set is the LEGO Pokemon Ditto as Squirtle: Movie Night (40887). This will be available on the LEGO Shop and on the Pokemon Center with LEGO Pokemon SMART Play purchases of $130 or more, while supplies last. On the Pokemon Center, the promotional period says it’ll run until December 31, 2026.

LEGO Restaurants of the World: Japan (40906) GWP Returns – July 2026

LEGO Insiders Day 2026 is over and there are some new promotions that have started in its place. First is the LEGO Restaurants of the World: Japan (40906) that you can get with general purchases of $180 from now until July 23, while supplies last.

The other promotion is for the LEGO Animal Crossing Tom Nook and Flying Present (30731) that you can get with $40 purchases in Fortnite, Minecraft, Sonic the Hedgehog, Super Mario, and/or The Legend of Zelda. This promo wil run from now until July 23, while supplies last.

Today is the last day for LEGO Insiders Day 2026 and there are still some promotions available here in the US. The LEGO Ideas Sea Serpent (40912) is surprisingly still available with purchases of $180 or more. Other countries have long sold out of the set.

The set features Shadow with his own mech fighting a G.U.N. Trooper. The mech has the ability to pop out the Dark Rider motorcycle.
