LEGO has released the official trailer for LEGO DREAMZzz: How to Fast Train Your Furious Dragon. This mashup is a combination of LEGO DREAMZzz along with The Fast and the Furious and How to Train Your Dragon. It seems like a fun story with the Fast & Furious cars racing dragons but the timing of its release is way off. The LEGO DREAMZzz theme is pretty much over and the hype from the Toothless release has long passed.

Three epic worlds mash-up in one unexpected LEGO DREAMZzz adventure as How to Train Your Dragon and Fast & Furious meet in the dream world. What is more awesome, roaring dragons or roaring engines? 🚗🐉 After watching The Fast and the Furious and How to Train Your Dragon, our dream chasing friends put it to the test. They dream craft Fast & Furious cars and enter the dream world to race them against the dragons of Berk. BUT WAIT, the Nightmare King turns the friendly dragons savage, turning it into a nightmare. The dream chasers must join forces with dragon rider Hiccup in the wildest mash-up ever dreamed up. Can they save Toothless, the other dragons, and the dream realm? Time is ticking.

The set is priced at only $21.99 where it is normally $29.99 for the Speed Champions set. I don’t know if they priced it wrong but go grab it before they fix the price on it.

LEGO August 2026 Sets Now Available on LEGO Shop – Huge Release Month!

August is now here and it is a huge LEGO release month on the LEGO Shop for various themes including the release of the LEGO Pokemon SMART Play sets. It is an unusually large month for us in the US since we finally get the rest of the summer 2026 sets for City, Friends, and Ninjago on top of the rest of the other recently announced sets. I’ve listed all the new sets below (hopefully I didn’t miss any) so there is something for everyone.

Gift with Purchase

There are quite a few LEGO August gift with purchase sets that will be running for the first few weeks. First is the LEGO Ideas The X-Files: Scully’s Lab (40896) which you can get from August 1-10 with the purchase of the The X-Files (21369), while supplies last.

To celebrate the release of the LEGO Pokemon sets, one GWP is the LEGO Pokemon Ditto as Squirtle: Movie Night (40887). This will be available on the LEGO Shop and on the Pokemon Center with LEGO Pokemon SMART Play purchases of $130 or more until August 10, while supplies last.

The Kanto Region Badge Collection (40892) is now back again when you purchase the LEGO Pokemon Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise (72153).

The LEGO Pokemon Premier Ball (30729) is available until August 10 with general purchases of €40 in European countries, while supplies last.

Rewards Center

The LEGO Pokemon Mini Pokemon Center (40911) is available again in the Rewards Center for 2,500 Insiders points.

August is coming up extremely fast and it will surprisingly be one of the biggest LEGO release months this year. LEGO went ham over the past few weeks with their LEGO reveals for various themes as well as some that were revealed a few months ago. With so many sets to choose from the August release, there is something for everyone.

There are currently two known LEGO August gift with purchase sets. First is the LEGO Ideas The X-Files: Scully’s Lab (40896) which you can get from August 1-10 with the purchase of the The X-Files (21369), while supplies last.

The other gift with purchase set is the LEGO Pokemon Ditto as Squirtle: Movie Night (40887). Today is the last day for LEGO Insiders Day 2026 and there are still some promotions available here in the US. The LEGO Ideas Sea Serpent (40912) is surprisingly still available with purchases of $180 or more. Other countries have long sold out of the set.
