More LEGO Star Wars SMART Play Sets Revealed

LEGO has revealed some new LEGO Star Wars SMART Play sets that you can pre-order today. These sets are SMART Play compatible meaning that they do have SMART Minifigures and SMART Tags but the SMART Bricks themselves are not included. You’ll need to get either Darth Vader’s TIE Fighter (75241), Luke’s Red Five X-Wing (75423), or Throne Room Duel & A-Wing (75427) to get the SMART Brick if you want full functionality of the system.

SMART Play: Luke’s Landspeeder (75420) – 215 pieces/$39.99

Refuel and repair Luke’s Landspeeder (75420) and role-play Star Wars: A New Hope™ stories with this LEGO® Star Wars™ building toy for kids. Clip Luke’s Lightsaber™ to the landspeeder, fold out the service station’s awning for easy access to the fuel hose, hammer and kitchen accessories, and grab the blue milk carton from the box. LEGO SMART Play Only Launching in Six Markets Worldwide

Pre-orders for the LEGO SMART Play Star Wars sets went live yesterday but if you were in certain countries, you aren’t able to place your orders. After the CES 2026 event, we’ve gotten some more information about the LEGO SMART Play system and it was revealed that the sets will only be available on March 1 for six launch markets: United States, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Poland, and Australia. This wasn’t mentioned during CES or at any presentations afterward so that’s very baffling. The following details are LEGO’s statement on why there are only six countries for the launch:

The first LEGO SMART Play sets will be on shelf from 1st March 2026 in our six launch markets: US, UK, France, Germany, Poland and Australia.

It wasn’t launched globally, as LEGO® SMART Play is a major transformative company-wide initiative that spans our entire value chain, from R&D to manufacturing and retail. Owing to the complexities of launching this innovative new platform we’ve phased launch to ensure the best customer experience we can.

While we can’t share more information right now on further market availability, our teams are working really hard to get LEGO SMART Play to fans and builders across the world. Please stay tuned and we’ll share more information as soon as we can.

LEGO SMART Play Star Wars Sets Pre-Orders on LEGO Shop

The new LEGO SMART Play Star Wars sets are now available for pre-order on the LEGO Shop. The SMART Play system was first announced a few days ago at CES 2026 with mixed reactions. Some fans thought it was innovative while others didn’t want the technology at all. If you want to give the sets a fair shake, they do qualify for the LEGO Year of the Horse set with purchases of $70. The LEGO SMART Play Star Wars sets will be available on March 1 with more coming later on this year.

LEGO January 2026 Sets Now Available on LEGO Shop

January 2026 is officially here and we have one of the biggest LEGO release months of the year with over 150 new LEGO 2026 sets that are now available.

As far as promotions go, there is plenty to go around. First is the Stranger Things: WSQK Radio Station (40891) when you purchase the LEGO Icons Stranger Things: The Creel House (11370) from now until January 7, while supplies last.

We also have the LEGO Icons Vintage Parade Car (40913) which has changed in the requirements since it was first revealed. You can get it with a $200 general purchase until January 11 but excludes the Creel House.

Another GWP celebrates the upcoming Chinese New Year with the LEGO Year of the Horse (40779) which is available with a general purchase of $70 or more. This promotion will run until January 11, while supplies last.

Lastly, there’a LEGO DUPLO Celebration Cake (30712) with LEGO DUPLO purchases of $40. This promo also runs until January 11, while supplies last.

Last Day for LEGO End-of-Year 2025 Sales and GWPs

There is only one day left to get your orders in for the end of year promotions and sales on the LEGO Shop. The LEGO Star Wars Gingerbread AT-AT Walker (40806) has restocked on the LEGO Shop. Although it’s listed on backorder status, you can still place an order for it and it’ll ship in 60 days. The set has been extremely popular since its release back in October as it has been out of stock since. It does qualify for a couple of current promotions including the LEGO Creation Celebration: Ferris Wheel with Fireworks (40758) with a $85 purchase or the LEGO Spring Festival Lucky Knots (40756) with a $150 purchase.
