LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Official Gameplay Trailer

Just now at the opening night of Gamescom 2020, WB Games has shown off the first official gameplay trailer of LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. The game talks you through all nine movies of the Skywalker Saga in which you can play over 200 characters. Of course there is also the LEGO humor we’ve all grown to love in these games. Although there’s no definite release date, the end of the trailer does show it will now be released in Spring 2020. Check it out below.

LEGO Star Wars Bespin Duel (75294) Sold Out on Shop@Home

As of around 6am PST, the LEGO Star Wars Bespin Duel (75294) is now sold out on Shop@Home for both the US and Canada. For those who are still looking for it, Target still has it available as of this post but you will need a RedCard to purchase it. Congratulations to those who were able to secure one as it was one of the more event exclusive items to buy without having to go to travel to the convention. I expected it to sell out more quickly but it was still up when I went to work this morning and it was gone a short while later.

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Gameplay Tomorrow at Gamescom 2020

Gamescom 2020 kicks off tomorrow and Geoff Keighley from Summer Game Fest has revealed that there will finally be world premiere gameplay of LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. There has been not that much information about the game since it was announced at E3 last year but we finally get to see something tangible.

There also hasn’t been any official word on a release date but it is rumored to be October 20. So far the only exclusive is from Best Buy where you can get the Han Solo Carbonite SteelBook Case.

LEGO Star Wars Bespin Duel (75294) Classified as Event Item

We just got confirmation that the LEGO Star Wars Bespin Duel (75294) is also classified as an event item and therefore won’t be available outside of North America. This set is a Star Wars Celebration 2020 exclusive which was meant to be sold at the convention but since it has been cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, LEGO will have to sell their stock somewhere.

LEGO Shop@Home will starting selling the set on August 27 which was supposed to be the first day of Star Wars Celebration but Target will have it for sale a day early which will be tomorrow. There’s no set time of when Target will launch it but it is usually in the mornings. Also the one at Target is a RedCard exclusive so you’ll need their card to be able to purchase it. I’ll try to post when it goes live but if not, keep an eye on my social media channels. For you Canadian fans, places that I heard will be selling it are Benjo and Toys R Us Canada. Again if you are able to, try to help out your fellow overseas LEGO fan since they can’t secure one as easily.

LEGO Star Wars Bespin Duel (75294) Available at Target on August 27

The last few days, we’ve been talking a lot about the LEGO Star Wars Bespin Duel (75294) and where we can get it. As we stated already, it will be on LEGO Shop@Home as it has been listed on the site. We also confirmed that it will not be an “exclusive” set as it was found at a Canadian toy store as well as at Toys R Us Canada. The latest retailer to get it will be Target as they have listed it as a RedCard exclusive. The price is still $39.99 but you get to save 5% on your order if you are a RedCard member. The official launch date is August 27 for Target so mark your calendars. I’m not sure if LEGO Shop@Home will have it available the same day but keep an eye on it.

LEGO Star Wars Bespin Duel (75294) Not Exclusive to Shop@Home

A few days ago, I reported that the LEGO Star Wars Bespin Duel (75294) will be available for Shop@Home but it appears that it won’t be an exclusive set. A reader by the name of Fred was able to purchase a set from Benjo which is an independent store in Quebec City, Canada. This is on top of the fact that Toys R Us Canada may be selling it as well. In addition, the listing in the August/September 2020 catalog does not show it as an exclusive or hard to find like with other direct-to-consumer sets. Will it be available at other retailers here in the US, we shall see.
