LEGO Stranger Things The Upside Down (75810) Review

In a surprise announcement yesterday, LEGO revealed the new LEGO Stranger Things The Upside Down (75810). The set has 2,287 pieces and retails for $199.99 and it features the Joyce Byers house from the hit Netflix series. Note that the box shows ages 16+ which means this set is aimed towards the older audience but it is LEGO so it could appeal to everyone even if they don’t know what Stranger Things is about.

LEGO Stranger Things Castle Byers Building Instructions

Yesterday was the LEGO Stranger Things event at the Flatiron and Leicester LEGO Brand Stores and if you attended, there was also a building event for a make and take for the Castle Byers build. The set contains 2,287 pieces and it retails for $199.99 and it features the Byers’ house from the hit Netflix show. The set also includes eight minifigures of some of the characters that are easy to recognize who they are.

LEGO Stranger Things The Upside Down (75810) Designer Video

Earlier today, LEGO officially announced the LEGO Stranger Things The Upside Down (75810) and as part of the press packet, we also received the designer video for the set. Since the show takes place in the 80s, LEGO also decided to do their video in an 80s VHS style. LEGO Designer Justin Ramsden goes into detail of some of the features in the set.

LEGO Stranger Things The Upside Down (75810) Officially Announced

After many teasers the past few weeks, LEGO has officially announced the LEGO Stranger Things The Upside Down (75810). Retailing for $199.99 and coming in at 2,287 pieces, the set will be available for VIP members starting on May 15 and to the general public on June 1.

The Upside Down features both the regular version of the Byers’ house and the alternate dimension one which you can flip over to showcase either side of the set. In addition, there will be eight minifigures of the characters from the show as well as a display stand for them.

LEGO Stranger Things Minifigure Teaser

LEGO isn’t fooling around today with the teaser for the upcoming LEGO Stranger Things set as they have posted a short clip which shows some of the minifigures from the show. The clip shows Eleven and Mike sitting in a room and it changes to the Upside Down with Will and the Demogorgon coming out of the background. There are still a few more teasers left until the official reveal on Wednesday, May 15 so hopefully we’ll see more little details from the set.

LEGO Stranger Things Teaser #4

The LEGO Stranger Things teasers keep rolling in as NXonNetflix has released a short video of a billboard screen showing the LEGO logo turn upside down. LEGO then in turn replies with some upside down smiles. A majority of people already know what’s coming but it’s cool that LEGO is continuing with these teasers.
