LEGO DC Batman Returns Batmobile (76355) Officially Announced

LEGO has officially revealed a new LEGO DC Batman set with the Batman Returns Batmobile (76355). Releasing on September 1, the set has 2,269 pieces and will retail for $229.99. The set features the second iteration of the Tim Burton Batmobile where the main function is it transforming into the Batmissile. There is also a Batman minifigure with a new cowl and cape piece.

LEGO DC Golden Age & Gremlins BrickHeadz Officially Announced

LEGO has officially revealed two new LEGO BrickHeadz sets that will be releasing this September. Making its way back to the BrickHeadz line is DC’s Superman and Batman. This time, they are in their Golden Age outfits. Also coming out next month is a Gremlins set with both Gizmo and Stripe.

Golden Age Superman and Batman Figures (40859) – 218 pieces/$24.99

Build and display the iconic DC Super Hero characters in LEGO® BrickHeadz™ style with LEGO BrickHeadz DC Golden Age Superman™ and Batman™ Figures (40859). LEGO August 2026 Sets Now Available on LEGO Shop – Huge Release Month!

August is now here and it is a huge LEGO release month on the LEGO Shop for various themes including the release of the LEGO Pokemon SMART Play sets. It is an unusually large month for us in the US since we finally get the rest of the summer 2026 sets for City, Friends, and Ninjago on top of the rest of the other recently announced sets. I’ve listed all the new sets below (hopefully I didn’t miss any) so there is something for everyone.

Gift with Purchase

There are quite a few LEGO August gift with purchase sets that will be running for the first few weeks. First is the LEGO Ideas The X-Files: Scully’s Lab (40896) which you can get from August 1-10 with the purchase of the The X-Files (21369), while supplies last.

To celebrate the release of the LEGO Pokemon sets, one GWP is the LEGO Pokemon Ditto as Squirtle: Movie Night (40887). This will be available on the LEGO Shop and on the Pokemon Center with LEGO Pokemon SMART Play purchases of $130 or more until August 10, while supplies last.

The Kanto Region Badge Collection (40892) is now back again when you purchase the LEGO Pokemon Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise (72153).

The LEGO Pokemon Premier Ball (30729) is available until August 10 with general purchases of €40 in European countries, while supplies last.

August is coming up extremely fast and it will surprisingly be one of the biggest LEGO release months this year. LEGO went ham over the past few weeks with their LEGO reveals for various themes as well as some that were revealed a few months ago. With so many sets to choose from the August release, there is something for everyone.

There are currently two known LEGO August gift with purchase sets. First is the LEGO Ideas The X-Files: Scully’s Lab (40896) which you can get from August 1-10 with the purchase of the The X-Files (21369), while supplies last.

The other gift with purchase set is the LEGO Pokemon Ditto as Squirtle: Movie Night (40887). This will be available on the LEGO Shop and on the Pokemon Center with LEGO Pokemon SMART Play purchases of $130 or more, while supplies last. On the Pokemon Center, the promotional period says it’ll run until December 31, 2026.

LEGO Marvel Avengers: Doomsday Sets Officially Announced

LEGO has officially revealed five new LEGO Marvel Avengers: Doomsday sets that will be coming out this fall. Following the new trailer shown at San Diego Comic Con 2026, there will be a few sets, hopefully more to come, that shows various scenes from the upcoming movie and they may include some spoilers.

LEGO Teases New Batman Batmobile Set Coming Soon

LEGO has recently updated the Adults Welcome section of the LEGO Shop with a teaser of a new LEGO Batman set coming soon. In the image, we can see a Batmobile covered up with the Batman Returns logo at the top. The caption below it reads:

The shadows grow darker in Gotham City as a new Batman set emerges from the depths. But even heroes have their doubts… Alright, now I’m a little worried.

The last sentence directly references a scene from Batman Returns where Batman is chased by the police after he was framed of pushing the Ice Princess off the legde of a building. After a short chase, we come to some buildings will a narrow space and the Batmobile sheds some armor to become the Batmissile. We can assume that the new set will be this version of the Batmobile with the transforming Batmissile.

A new set of LEGO promotions has started on the LEGO Shop including the return of the LEGO Star Wars Darksaber (40917). From now until the end of the month, you can get it with a purchase of The Mandalorian’s N-1 Starfighter (75442).

Another promotion that runs until July 31 is the LEGO Marvel Spider-Man vs. Anti-Venom Heist (30725) with purchases of $40 in Batman, DC, Jurassic World, and/or Marvel.
