LEGO Batman Batcave – Shadow Box (76252) Now Available on LEGO Shop

The LEGO Batman Batcave – Shadow Box (76252) is now available for purchase on the LEGO Shop for VIPs. Retailing for $399.99, the 3,981 piece set features a shadowbox of the Batman emblem but it can be opened up to have a very elaborate Batcave based on Batman Returns which includes a minifigure scale Batmobile and seven minifigures.

The Japanese LEGO 2023 2HY Catalog is now available and it shows some new sets from various themes that will be coming later this year. The most interesting ones include the LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts Castle & Grounds (76419) and the LEGO Marvel Captain America’s Shield (76262). There’s also the LEGO Star Wars Ahsoka’s 332 Company Clone Troopers Battle Pack (75359) and the Yavin IV Rebal Base (75365). In addition, there’s sets for LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog, Minecraft, Technic, City, and Friends, as well as all the LEGO 2023 Advent Calendars. LEGO DC Batmobile: Batman vs. The Joker Chase (76224) Revealed

A LEGO Certified Store has revealed the new LEGO DC Batmobile: Batman vs. The Joker Chase (76224) which will be releasing later this summer. If you don’t want to drop a chunk of change for the upcoming Batcave Shadow Box (76252), this will be a cheaper way to get the 438 piece 1989 Batmobile which looks almost the same. There are some slight differences between the two such as the rims and the intakes. It’ll also include minifigures of Batman and the Joker, both of which are new variants. For the Batmobile itself, it’ll have some gears on the sides to pop out the guns. It is rumored that the set will cost $44.99.

LEGO DC Batcave Shadow Box (76252) Officially Announced

LEGO has officially revealed the highly anticipated LEGO DC 1992 Batman Returns Batcave Shadow Box (76252). Releasing on June 5 for VIPs, the set has 3,981 pieces and will retail for $399.99.

From the outside, you have have a shadowbox with the Batman emblem showing part of the Batcave but when you open it up, you have a more complete Batcave from Batman Returns. There’s even a Batmobile included in the middle. Hopefully it has the same details as in the movie where the sides are able to pop off to become the Batmissile.

The set also comes with minifigures of Bruce Wayne, Alfred, Max Shreck, the Penguin, Catwoman, and two Batman suits, one with the molded cowl and cap and the other with a fabric cape.
