LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes SDCC 2015 Arsenal

The Wall Street Journal has revealed the second San Diego Comic Con 2015 exclusive minifigure, DC Comics Super Heroes Arsenal, aka Roy Harper, from the Arrow television series. It was also stated that 1,500 Arsenal minifigures will be given away on Thursday.

Last week, it was revealed that All New Captain America featuring Sam Wilson will also be one of the minifigures that will be given away but no mentioning which day. The raffle drawings will be held from Thursday until Saturday at the Pavilion Terrace so that means there will be one more minifigure being revealed in the next few days.

LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes SDCC 2015 Exclusive Action Comics #1 Set Revealed

LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes SDCC 2015 Exclusive

Collider has revealed the third LEGO exclusive set that will be sold at San Diego Comic Con this year. It will be a LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes set that recreates Joe Shuster’s iconic artwork for Action Comics #1 which features Superman’s first comic book cover. The set contains 145 pieces and will retail for $39.99.

Like with the other SDCC 2015 exclusives, there will be a ticket drawing held at the Pavilion Terrace to determine who will be able to purchase the sets. It joins the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Throne of Ultron and LEGO Star Wars Dagobah as the sets that “fans” will be clamoring over in two weeks which a lot them will end up being on eBay for an exorbitant amount.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes SDCC 2015 Exclusive Sam Wilson Minifigure Revealed

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes SDCC 2015 Exclusive Sam Wilson

USA Today has revealed one of the exclusive LEGO minifigures that will be given away free at San Diego Comic Con 2015, Sam Wilson. This version of the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Sam Wilson is the “All-New Marvel” Secret Wars version in which he is the new Captain America.

To get the All New Captain America (Sam Wilson) minifigure at SDCC 2015, there will be a raffle done, similar to last year, where they had iPads set up and you just tap it to see if you’re a winner. If you are, you’ll be sent to an employee to pick it up and if you’re not, hopefully you can find a good price for it on eBay. I’m sure the line for this minifig will be very long.

One thing to note is that the article states the limited-edition minifigures will be obtained from drawings Thursday through Saturday so that means there are only three being released this year which is rather odd since there was one every day last year.

LEGO Marvel’s Avengers Extended Gameplay Footage at E3

LEGO Marvel's Avengers Video Game

On the last day of E3, Arthur Parsons did one last interview today with IGN for LEGO Marvel’s Avengersicon and they showed off an extended demo gameplay of the game. Arthur noted that LEGO Marvel’s Avengers is a “celebration of Avengers” and there will be over 100 new characters that haven’t appeared before in LEGO games including Ulysses Klaw as well as possibly various comic book costumes. There’s not much more information than what we already knew but you can check out the video below.

LEGO Marvel’s Avengers Gameplay Footage at E3

A short while ago, TT Games Game Director Arthur Parsons showed off some gameplay footage for LEGO Marvel’s Avengersicon at E3. The game features the first Avengers movie, Avengers: Age of Ultron, “and more.”

The interview was pretty short but we did get to see some different gameplay footage from the end of the first Avengers movie. The game will begin at the beginning of Avengers: Age of Ultron where they are searching for Loki’s staff. It then segues into the scene in the first Avengers movie where Loki is given the staff. There’s also more content after the Avengers movies including an open-world New York.

There’s also a new team-up combat system called the “Avengers Inititive Moves” where you have certain Avengers team up in various ways for example Hulk interacts with Iron Man or Black Widow with Hawkeye. Every single character will also have a power bar that you can charge up to unleash solo combat special moves or team combo moves. The special moves will take a third off from the fully-powered bar.

The fighting style and costumes for each character is different from movie to movie. All the characters will have new moves and abiliteis. For example, Captain America’s moves from the first Avengers movie will differ from his moves in Avengers: Age of Ultron.

Like with the recent LEGO Jurassic World video game, LEGO Marvel’s Avengers will also incorporate actual movie dialog into the game. Arthur also slyly mentions that some of the new MCU characters like Quicksilver will be in … Continue

Further Clarification on LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Ant-Man Final Battle (76039) Issue

There are some more details coming out of Reddit regarding a problem with the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Ant-Man Final Battle (76039). As you can see from the image above, there are two different instructions for the same step in building the ant’s legs. The top is the updated version which also includes pairs of pins and cones to add on to the legs for more stability. This is probably the reason why Shop@Homeicon has the set listed with 195 pieces instead of the 183 when it was first released.

The OP also stated that both boxes where identical and that there was no sign of them showing the 12 extra pieces except when opened so I assume LEGO is just using the same boxes that list 183 pieces and adding a bag with the additional pieces with the new instructions which saves the company some money by not remaking the boxes. If you’re one of the people who don’t have the updated Ant-Man Final Battle (76039), I suggest contacting LEGO customer support to see if you can get the extra parts.
