LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight Game Announced

LEGO and Warner Bros. Games have officially announced a new video game called LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight. Produced by TT Games, the game features an open world Gotham City with the usual LEGO humor and it spans the Batman’s legacy in film, television, comics, and games. The game will be available in 2026 and if you sign up for a WB Games account, you can unlock the Golden Age Batsuit.

LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is a brand-new open world action adventure videogame that invites players to embark on Bruce Wayne’s epic journey to become the hero of Gotham City, inspired by decades of Batman films, television, comic books, and games, and jam-packed with Batman nostalgia, DC lore, and TT Games’ signature brand of fun-filled LEGO humor.

LEGO Doctor Octopus Bust Teaser?

LEGO’s latest Instagram post shows off some blueprints of the more recent LEGO Marvel busts including Iron Spider-Man (76326) and Iron Man MK4 (76327), however, there’s also what seems to be a teaser of another character. On the last slide, there’s a shadowy figure with two arms seemingly building something. The obvious guess is that it could be Doctor Octopus with his tentacles. Is LEGO actually teasing a Doctor Octopus bust coming in the future or is it just nothing at all?

LEGO August 2025 Sets Available on LEGO Shop

August is now here and the new summer 2025 LEGO sets are now available on the LEGO Shop. There’s so many sets releasing this month that there’s something for everyone after a couple of rather quiet months. In fact, there are over 90 new sets that have dropped for North America.

The highly anticipated LEGO One Piece sets are now here which are the first sets that I’m buying along with the Transformers Soundwave (10358).

As a Rakuten/Linkshare Affiliate, I earn from qualifying purchases.

For the promotions, the main one is the LEGO Fortnite BrickHeadz Adventure Peely & Cuddle Team Leader (40760) which is available from August 1-11 with general purchases of $130 so it’s pretty easy to get. LEGO has made a provision that excludes the Jango Fett Firespray-Class Starship (75409) so you can’t double dip on both promos.

Again, we still have the LEGO Star Wars Kamino Training Facility (40765) with the purhcase of the Jango Fett Firespray-Class Starship (75409) which will run until August 2.

Lastly, there a LEGO Botanicals Field Flowers (30701) polybag when you purchase $25 or more of LEGO Botanicals products. This will run until August 12, while supplies last.

It’s almost August and that means it’s one of the biggest LEGO release days of the year for the summer 2025 sets. This includes the introduction of the LEGO One Piece theme which I’m very excited about. LEGO San Diego Comic Con 2025 Recap

LEGO SDCC 2025

San Diego Comic Con 2025 has come and gone and we can now do a recap on the LEGO happens during the event. Before it started, LEGO announced a few new sets that will be coming in the next few months. These include the LEGO Nintendo Game Boy (72046), LEGO DC Batman Arkham Asylum (76300), a new wave of LEGO Wicked sets, and the LEGO Stranger Things BrickHeadz Mike, Dustin, Lucas and Will (40801). All of the sets were displayed on the outer edges at the LEGO Booth.

Speaking of the LEGO Booth, they were one of the main highlights of the whole event with the recreation of the convention center. It was made up of over 200,000 LEGO elements and has over 8,000 minifigures that are placed inside. It took 16 builders over 1,500 hours to create the masterpiece. You can still check out the booth at home by doing a Virtual Booth Tour.

If you try out the interactive zone of the booth, fans were able to build their own version of a booth and if they were good enough, they would be placed inside the brick-built convention center.
