LEGO Reveals Full-Sized LEGO Technic Bugatti Chiron

Today LEGO has revealed a full-sized Bugatti Chiron that is made entirely out of LEGO Technic elements and is capable of driving. The Chiron is made from over 1 million LEGO Technic parts and is powered using LEGO Power Functions motors and can reach a top speed of 20mph. Also packed into the car are 2,304 motors along with 4,032 Technic gear wheels. What’s even more impressive is that there was no glue to hold everything together.

LEGO Wizarding World Harry Potter Collectible Minifigures (71022)

It’s August 1 and that means that there are a ton of new LEGO sets are now available for purchase on LEGO Shop@Home. LEGO sets from various themes ranging from DC Super Heroes to Ninjago to Unikitty are now available. The rest of the Wizarding World sets, mainly the Fantastic Beasts ones, and the Collectible Minifigures are now up for grabs and I’m sure those will be pretty popular. In addition, there are a couple of promotions that are going on simultaneously including the LEGO Plants from Plants (40320) with purchases of $35 or more and the LEGO Unikitty Castle Room (5005239) with purchases of $25 or more.

It looks like Amazon has unofficially kicked off Prime Day early with a great deal on the LEGO Technic Bucket Wheel Excavator (42055). It is currently priced at $199.99 which is a whopping 29% off the normal price of $279.99. Coming in at 3,929 pieces, the Bucket Wheel Excavator is one of the largest Technic sets LEGO has released and the $0.05/piece ratio makes it even better. We usually don’t see decent discounts this big for sets this size but this is one of the exceptions.

LEGO has officially announced the new LEGO Technic Bugatti Chiron (42083) which has been teased the past few months. If you’ve been on social media the past week or so, you’ve probably already seen it leaked but we have the high quality of the Bugatti Chiron and it is in the same 1:8 scale as the Porsche 911 GT3 RS (42056). The set has 3,599 pieces and will retail for $349.99. The set is will be available on Shop@Home and at LEGO Brand Stores starting today. LEGO has published another teaser for the LEGO Technic Bugatti Chiron (42083) and announced that the reveal of the set will be next Friday, June 1. There will be a special launch event at the LEGO House in Denmark and it will be livestreamed at 9:00am CET which is midnight here on the west coast.
