LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts: Grand Staircase (40577) Review

LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts: Grand Staircase (40577)

The promotion for the LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts: Grand Staircase (40577) sold out on the LEGO Shop in North America after only a few days but we finally got our review copy in to check it out. The set has 224 pieces and you had to make a $130 LEGO Harry Potter purchase to get it. LEGO Stores may still have it in stock since the promotion is supposed to run until the end of July.

One thing you’ll notice is that there is a lot of stickers for this set, 18 to be exact, all of which are for the Hogwarts portraits for the wizards and witches. The main one being the Fat Lady who is situated on the right wall. I’m surprised there isn’t one for Sir Cadogan and his horse. You can pop out the two larger panels to move them to the empty areas.

LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts: Grand Staircase (40577) Sold Out Online – North America

A few days after the LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts: Grand Staircase (40577) went live on the LEGO Shop, it now seems to be sold out online in North America. That was pretty quick considering the purchase threshold was at $130 to get it and was gone in less than four days when the promotion was supposed to run until July 31. LEGO Brand Stores may still have them so I suggest calling your local store to see if they have any. It’s funny because my review copy is still in the mail to be delivered so the review will totally be outdated. The only promotion left is the LEGO Harry Potter Build Your Own Hogwarts Castle (30435) polybag with HP purchases of $40.
