LEGO Updates Retiring Soon List – September 2025

The LEGO Shop has updated their list of sets that are Retiring Soon and currently there are over 100 sets that are scheduled to be done by the end of the year. A majority of the sets are older ones but there are also some that are pretty recent including the One Piece BrickHeadz. Of course this is not the end all, be all list of sets that will be retiring as LEGO will usually update it.

If you’re a Target shopper, one of their current weekly deals is for 15% off select LEGO sets and on the list includes the upcoming LEGO Ideas Gizmo (21361). They are taking pre-orders for it while also saving 15%. If you have the Target Circle Card, you can also save an additional 5% with free shipping. This essentially saves you 20% which equates to about $89 even before the set is released.

LEGO October 2025 Shopping Guide

This month is just flying by and it’s time for our LEGO October 2025 shopping guide for sets that will be releasing on the LEGO Shop next week. The main set that will be releasing is the new UCS Death Star (75419) which will be the first ever set priced at $999.99. We also have the release of this year’s Winter Village set with the Holiday Express Train (10361) along with the other Seasonal Christmas sets.

For the gift with purchase items, we only know of one so far which is the LEGO Star Wars TIE Fighter with Imperial Hangar Rack (40771) which you can only get when you purchase the Death Star.

In the Insiders Reward Center, you can get the LEGO Star Wars Death Star Supersize Premium Print which will cost 5,000 Insiders points.

Last Day for Batman Day 2025 Double Points Promotion

Today is officially Batman Day 2025 but for LEGO, it is the last day for their Batman Day promotion on the LEGO Shop. You can still earn double Insiders points on most of all Batman related sets except for the newly released Arkham Asylum (76300). This promotion has been running for about a week and a half and it all ends tonight.

LEGO has started some new promotions on the LEGO Shop for the second half of September. The main one is for the LEGO Icons The Lord of the Rings The Shire (10354) where you can get the LEGO Icons Smeagol & Deagol (40761) gift with purchase set. This will run until September 24, while supplies last.

There are also some polybags that you can get for purchasing sets in various themes. You can get both the LEGO Animal Crossing Julian’s Beach Painting (30703) and the LEGO Minecraft The Lush Cave Fight (30705) polybags when you make a $50 purchase in Animal Crossing, Fortnite, Minecraft, Sonic the Hedgehog, and/or Super Mario. LEGO Ideas Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory (21360) Now Available

The new LEGO Ideas Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory (21360) is now available for purchase on the LEGO Shop. Retailing for $219.99, the 2,025 piece set is based on the original 1971 movie starring Gene Wilder.

The main feature is the chocolate waterfall that can move when you turn the dial on the back. It also has the Wonkatania boat that can carry the minifigures which include Willy Wonka, two Oompa Loompa, Charlie Bucket, Grandpa Joe, Augustus Gloop, Violet Beauregarde, Veruca Salt, and Mike Teavee.

As of right now, the LEGO SEGA Genesis Controller (40769) is still available so you can get it as a GWP when you get it. The promo will run until September 17, while supplies last.
