Teefury has a new LEGO t-shirt today that is based on Matt Damon’s latest movie, The Martian. The shirt shows an astronaut growing some crops on what appears to be on Mars which had a similar scene in the movie. The shirt starts at $11 and comes in black, brown, and navy. There about 10 hours left to purchase the shirt if you want one.

The shirt goes for $11 and at no additional cost, you are also supporting the fight against breast cancer since it is part of their October Project partnership with Bright Pink. LEGO Seasonal Holiday Christmas Train (40138) Promo Now Live

Reports of LEGO Double VIP Points Extended Again

I’ve gotten a few emails from various readers that they said that LEGO Double VIP has been extended again and will last until October 31. There’s also a report by a user on Reddit that also contributes to this report.

As we know by now, the new LEGO Seasonal Holiday Christmas Train (40138) will be available starting tomorrow and will overlap with the Double VIP promo for two days. If this rumor of the extended Double VIP promo is true, we’ll have more time to plan our shopping since there are two more weeks of it. If you don’t want to risk missing out on it, then I suggest making your purchases tomorrow or Wednesday just in case.

I’m trying to confirm if this report is true or not so stay tuned as I’ll update this post when I have an answer.

Update: I’ve gotten confirmation from my store that the extension is indeed true but if you’re also going for the Christmas Train, I suggest getting your orders in early.

LEGO October 2015 Double VIP Points Promotion Now Live

It’s October on the east coast and that means purchases will now earn you double VIP points on LEGO Shop@Home and at LEGO Brand Stores. Even though the Store Calendar shows the Double Points promotion only shows it running from October 1-4, it’s been confirmed that it will actually run until October 14. This extension also overlaps with the free exclusive LEGO Creator Holiday Train (40138) starting on October 13 so I have a feeling that many people will be waiting to kill two birds with one stone.

If you’re planning on doing the double VIP points, what are you planning to purchase? For me, I’ll probably be picking up the UCS Slave I (75060) and some others in the collection that I’m missing. Let me know in the comments below of what you’ll be getting.

LEGO October 2015 Double VIP Points Extended?

Double VIP points will be returning in October but as the LEGO Store Calendar states, it will only be available from October 1-4 which is pretty short. Even in March, the event was for a full two weeks. I’ve gotten a couple of messages from concerned readers and they contacted their stores to see what was going on. The responses they’ve gotten back was LEGO was extending the Double VIP Points until October 14. LEGO hasn’t officially said anything about it and I’m trying to find confirmation that this is true. I’ll give an update if there are some new details.

Update: LEGO Customer Service has confirmed that the Double VIP Points promotion will indeed be from October 1-14.

LEGO November 2015 Store Calendar Promos & Events

The November 2015 LEGO Store Calendar is now available and we can see all the promotions and events that will be going on in the month.

First off is the continuation of the first of two LEGO Seasonal Holiday sets with the Holiday Train (40138) with purchases of $99 or more. This offer goes from October 13-November 13, while supplies last.

The second LEGO Seasonal Holiday set, Gingerbread House (40139), will be available starting on November 27 with purchases of $99 or more.

From November 15-December 24, you can get a free exclusive 2016 LEGO Wall Calendar with purchase of $75 or more, while supplies last.

On November 21, there are special holiday offers for LEGO VIP members at LEGO Stores.

Starting on November 27, there are doorbuster sales for that roll over to Black Friday weekend.

On November 3-4, the free LEGO Monthly Mini Model Build will be a shark.
