The game will include more than 90 playable characters from the film and 15 levels. The LEGO Movie video game will be released in February 2014 and will be available on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Wii U, 3DS, PS Vita, and PC. Also check out our footage of the game taken from San Diego Comic Con 2013.

The LEGO Movie Official Box Art Images

The LEGO Movie Getaway Glider (70800)

It seem that we haven’t done a post of the official box art for The LEGO Movie sets. The LEGO Movie products page has revealed all of the sets from the initial wave and have included the box art for the sets as well. In addition to all the sets for The LEGO Movie, there are also 16 Collectible Minifigures which you can see here.

The LEGO Movie 2-in-1 Alternate Set Builds

The LEGO Movie Ice Cream Machine (70804) Alternate

Today, LEGO has revealed a couple of images from The LEGO Movie sets that are marked “2 in 1” which have alternate builds, the Ice Cream Machine (70804), Trash Chomper (70805), and Castle Cavalry (70806). Each set utilizes what LEGO is best at, building different things using the same bricks in the set and I must say that the alternate builds look pretty nice.

The LEGO Movie Video Game Box Art Revealed

The LEGO Movie Video Game Box Art

The box art and the press release for The LEGO Movie video game has been released for the public. The game was revealed at the 2013 San Diego Comic Con which you can see a couple of short videos I took below. The LEGO Movie video game will be released around the time the actual movie is released in February 2014.

In February 2014, The LEGO® Movie Videogame will rise to the occasion for Xbox One®, Xbox 360®, PlayStation 4®, PlayStation®3, Wii U™ consoles, as well as Nintendo 3DS™ and PlayStation® Vita handheld entertainment systems and PC.

The LEGO® Movie Videogame will bring players into the humorous and action-packed role of Emmet, an ordinary LEGO minifigure mistakenly thought to be “The Special”—a character prophesized to save the world from an evil LEGO tyrant. Throughout the game, players can harness the awesome power of the Master Builders to construct new extraordinary LEGO creations, while taking on the role of more than 90 playable characters inspired by the film in 15 exciting levels. This is going to be an authentic LEGO experience like never before, with a brand new LEGO visual animation style which simulates the movement and feel of actual LEGO toy sets.

The LEGO Movie Character Posters

The LEGO Movie Benny The 1980-something Space Guy

After a night out watching Thor: The Dark World (great movie by the way), it’s time to update the old site again. Warner Bros. Pictures has released some neat character posters from The LEGO Movie. There are four images so far but I’m sure there will be more coming out in the future up to February 7, 2014 when the movie is released. First off, we have Benny The 1980-something Space Guy who is voiced by Charlie Day from It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Next up, we have Vitruvius voiced by none other than Mr. Morgan Freeman. Following him is the Caped Crusader, Batman, voiced by Will Arnett from Arrested Development and 30 Rock, etc. Finally, we have a poster of Lord Business who is voiced by funny man Will Ferrell. I’ll be updating this post with more posters as they become available.

Update #1: Wyldstyle who is voiced by Elizabeth Banks is now available.

Update #2: The poster for Emmet is now available. He is voiced by Chris Pratt who will also be in the new Guardians of the Galaxy movie as Star-Lord.

Update 3: There is a new poster for the movie.
