Did LEGO Accidentally Confirm LEGO Star Wars UCS Millennium Falcon?

There has been lots of rumored regarding the new LEGO Star Wars UCS Millennium Falcon. Back in January, there were details about the ship itself while in April, there were details about some of the minifigures. There was even a reported price point of $799.99 for it.

The latest intel that was revealed was on LEGO Shop@Home itself. Earlier today, when people did a search for “UCS Millennium Falcon,” you would get a a coming soon page with the message, “Coming soon. You’re ahead of the game! That product is coming soon. Try again later!” This message was confirmed by others in various regions of the world as well. As of this writing, it looks like LEGO has fixed the query and it comes up with the no results found message.

Did LEGO accidentally reveal that there is a new UCS Millennium Falcon coming? Thanks to everyone who emailed in about it as well.

Well, 800$ would be completely and far beyond my price point. Never spent my entire rent on a Lego before. I almost wish they wouldn’t make one and that they’d release other stuff that hasn’t been a UCS before, but they know their market and it’ll sell very well. It has been a while since the last one.

I don’t remember who, but someone remarked before “$600?! Am I getting a tour of the real Falcon too?”

$800? We could almost buy our own ship for that!

But who’s gonna fly it kid, you?

          • Bongo Beans

You bet I could, I’m not such a bad pilot myself!

We haven’t that much with us. But we could pay you $200 now, plus $600 when we reach Alderaan.

Getting ridiculous at this point with the amount of Star Wars vehicles that get a release and then are released in an updated or slightly altered form a few years later. Not sure why people buy them anymore when they know a new version is out later.

i think you are missing the point here. this type of set hasn’t been released in over 10 years and many people want one but can’t afford to buy it at the reseller pricing at $5000+. the only people that would be disappointed at a release like this would be those that are still trying to sell overpriced stock

        That will be pure Schadenfreude

Considering this set goes for anywhere from $2,500 to $5,000 and originally retailed for $499, I think it’s safe to say there is consumer demand for a re-release…

What is the best guess for when Lego will officially announce this set?

    • The Anonymous Hutt

If the set is released in the fall of 2017, probably August or September.

I got the same “You’re ahead of the game! That product is coming soon. Try again later!” when I searched for “Saturn” today!.

    • Kezvin

Probably because of the upcoming Saturn V from the Ideas line

      • PeteH

        Irrelevent.

        • Kezvin

          How so?
