LEGO is celebrating the grand opening of a LEGO Brand store at the JCPenney Court in Providence, Rhode Island and if you’re one of the first 300 customers to purchase $99 or more tomorrow, Saturday, June 27, you can get a free exclusive LEGO Brand Retail Store (40145) set. The offer is valid while supplies last and be sure to get there pretty early as I suspect there will be a lot of people lined up for it.
LEGO will also have an exclusive Minifigure set with a $50 purchase on Sunday. These sets are pretty unique since it labels the store and city on the packaging. This minifigure set is also limited to the first 300 customers.
You can read more details about the Providence Place LEGO Store opening here.

Wow a new Lego Store! I have the old one but this look so cool!
I’ll give someone a $100 for that store!
I picked mine up this morning with every intention of selling it to offset my $100 purchase but after seeing the box and the stickers for the mini lego boxes and just how gorgeous they look, I’m not so sure….. :/
It’s almost a one-of-a-kind set since not many people have an opportunity to get one.
Andre I was there too! I saw this article at 7am today and didn’t even know there was a Rhode Island opening! I quickly got ready and headed down. I was in the “2nd wave” of patrons patiently waiting our turns. I was glad to pick up my Brick Bounty and Braniac Attack (to try to win the VIP Batpod). This Lego store set is AMAZING. I am not giving mine up. Even cooler was I that I saw an employee that I know from a Connecticut store and she was promoted to be the assistant manager at the Rhode Island store! It was a great day today!
Glad to hear you had a great time!
