The last time I’ve talked about the LEGO Black VIP card was a few weeks ago where I stated that a new batch of cards are being created due to a glitch in the system and now, there’s a new revelation about how to acquire the card. The original deadline to get the card was December 31, 2017 so technically you can’t get it anymore even if you have purchased the set this year but that could be changing according some information that I’ve received.
A reader named Tim purchased the UCS Falcon this past weekend at a New York LEGO Brand Store and the manager there told him that LEGO would be continuing the Black VIP card promotion that ended last year. Tim was then told to verify his LEGO VIP address because he’ll also be getting it as well even though the deadline has passed.
I’m not sure if this is just an isolated incident or if LEGO is actually continuing the Black VIP card promotion. I would suggest asking LEGO customer service before making your purchase to see if they are actually continuing it since the webpage about it still has the old information. Even if you’ve made a purchase of the Falcon this year, it wouldn’t hurt to ask customer service to see what’s going on.

This is a possibility. On shop @ Lego, it says “ The collectible card is a limited-time offer until 12/31 2017, or while stocks last.” So as long as there are still cards available, the promo will run
usually that means whichever comes first. If they say while stocks last only, than date don’t matter.
I’ve called the Italian customer service at the beginning of january 2018,I’ve talked with a manager and he said that the card was only available until the end of 2017:(
I still have yet to receive mine.
i bought it from lego nyc store at Jan, their manager told me same thing that due the the lack of availability of MF, i could still get card and the promotional is still going on. And i emailed customer service week after i made purchase, they told me the offer is initially end at 12/31 2017, but they may extended due to the availability . So i guess there is a chance that people who bought it after deadline could still get one.
