The LEGO Creator Downtown Diner (10260) was announced at the end of November but a new thing LEGO has been doing is putting out the designer video a while after instead of the same time as the reveal. Earlier today, LEGO has released the designer video of the Downtown Diner (10260) and senior designer Mike Psiaki talks about his latest creation but only a little part of it. The video mostly focuses on Mike himself as a designer. The Downtown Diner will be available starting on January 1 for $169.99.
Drop in at the LEGO® Creator Expert 10260 Downtown Diner, where you’ll discover a healthy portion of fun and surprises. This impressive model features removable building sections for easy access to the detailed interior, which comprises a ground-level 1950s-style diner with a large curved front window, red bar stools, jukebox, counter and an open-plan kitchen. Easily the best designer video yet! Keep up the good work Lego!
Whilst interesting it didnt really get in depth about the build like the other vids do! It was more about the designer!
There are so many YouTube channels that review new LEGO sets (some quite well and in depth) that these designer videos become redundant. I like that this video introduced us to another designer and presented his thoughts and feelings on building with LEGO.
I was expecting a video talking about the model. Instead it is more about being a Lego designer. Still liked it
I really want to start collecting these, but man is the cost prohibitive. Not that it isn’t worth the price for what you get, it’s just a big chunk of change. Although not as high priced as some …
The Cafe Corner already has a hotel…..
Funny how they avoided saying anything about the set at all…..
Remember when these videos were about the set and showed off building techniques and new parts and prints?
