There will be another LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes animated film coming out later this year called Justice League: Gotham City Breakout and now there’s an image of the movie as well as the Nightwing exclusive minifigure that will be included in the Blu-Ray/DVD/Digital HD combo pack. Not much is known about the movie at this time but we do get a new version of the Nightwing minifigure with blue batons.
Thanks to RonaldTM for the email heads up.

Has anyone watched the last few Lego DC movies? How were they?
From what I hear, everyone just gets them for the minifigs…
They are OK, but some are better than others. No comparison to the Lego movie in writing or humor.
I much prefer this blue version to the red version, even though red’s my favorite color. I might get the red version just for the sake of comparison, though. I’ll probably switch out the lightsaber blades for 3-length black rods, since those seem more accurate to me.
The escrima stick color varies. Sometimes it’s black, but it can be silver, black with blue accents, black with glowing blue bits, and black with large amounts of glowing blue bits. I haven’t seen any evidence that the New 52 red Nightwing uses any red-accented escrima sticks, but for the blue outfit you’ve got options. Just whatever color you go with, realize that the ginormous 4-stud lightsaber blade is ridiculously oversized for much smaller escrima sticks. I prefer the 3-stud version for both.
I’ve seen an image of the red Nightwing using black escrima sticks. I won’t be using lightsaber blades of any color. I gave my Harry Potter a 3 stud length brown rod for his wand, too. The only reason I’m using lightsaber blades for Black Widow is that the shorter ones don’t exist in the right color yet, but when they do, she’ll get them.
I actually recently discovered that the trans light blue rods do exist. They were used as raygun lasers for some CMF figures. I also discovered a couple funko pop nightwing figures. The red one has grey escrima sticks, and the blue one has black, so that’s what I’ll go with for my minifigures.
Wow! The packaging looks great, and Nightwing looks awesome! I never bought a LEGO DC Movie before but I will have to get this one!
Probably won’t get this offer in Region 2… again
How cool!
uggg.. I guess a 3rd Nightwing is better than a 28th Batman, but I would much rather have gotten Saturn Girl. or Lobo. or Blue Beetle. or any of the other 1,000 figures they haven’t done yet.
My gripe is that I already made this Nightwing by putting black arms on the 2006 Nightwing. I’d rather have one based on a significantly different outfit, like the thunderbird-esque design from The New Batman Adventures.
And there will be an official Blue Beetle…but probably not the version you’re hoping for.
