Collider has revealed the third LEGO exclusive set that will be sold at San Diego Comic Con this year. It will be a LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes set that recreates Joe Shuster’s iconic artwork for Action Comics #1 which features Superman’s first comic book cover. The set contains 145 pieces and will retail for $39.99.
Like with the other SDCC 2015 exclusives, there will be a ticket drawing held at the Pavilion Terrace to determine who will be able to purchase the sets. It joins the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Throne of Ultron and LEGO Star Wars Dagobah as the sets that “fans” will be clamoring over in two weeks which a lot them will end up being on eBay for an exorbitant amount.

Couldn’t be more jealous of whomever winds up with these. Wow. That is just excellent. It terms of value, it makes those Star Wars minibuilds look like garbage.
Beautiful set. I take solace in that I can’t see many obvious rare pieces and hope I’ll be able to reconstruct it via Bricklink for relatively cheap just like last year’s Batmobile.
The roof of the car in that color is unique to this set. I hope they reuse that part in a future set so this could be faithfully recreated.
As seen below…
The ONLY thing that could make that better is if the minifigure was an exclusive silver age superman (as seen on the cover)
Exactly!
