Buy it for the minifigures, NOT the game. The lastest update erased/corrupted my saved game data and I would hate for someone else to experience this. Customer support is telling me to start over which doesn’t solve their software issue.
They say _everything_ is due to corrupted save game data unless/until they get enough complaints to clue them in to the fact that it’s a game bug. Sometimes it is corrupted data, but not necessarily your saved game. I was getting a regular error twice every time I started up the game, and it turns out that deleting all the Year 2 downloads (but _NOT_ my saved game) and downloading them again took care of that problem. There was an actual game bug tied to the clock in Feigbusters that’s used to switch from day to night (and access one gold brick) that they had to fix on their end. Somewhere in that whole mix, my Feigbusters World gold brick count went from 27/29 to 28/28 when I picked up the night time brick. So, I got one missing brick after they fixed the bug, and the other missing brick vanished into the ether. I don’t know if the total was adjusted down when I flushed and reinstalled the Year 2 game data, or if that was a coding error that they fixed on their end.
If you’re really concerned about corrupted game data, make a backup of your Year 1 save before getting started on Year 2.
I’d seriously think twice about purchasing these from Amazon if you’re in any hurry to get them. I ordered the Fantastic Beasts story pack, the Gremlins team pack and the Sonic level pack between November 25-28, and none of them have shipped yet. And I’m an Amazon Prime member to boot.
I preordered them several weeks before release (not a Prime member), and they skipped over the release date and shipped them almost a week later…one day before they slashed the prices for their Black Friday sale. So, not only did I end up waiting 1.5 weeks for delivery, but I barely got any discount off MSRP for my trouble.
