The new LEGO Ideas WALL•E (21303) is now available for pre-order on Amazon. It retails for $59.99 and will be available on September 1 so I assume that LEGO will be officially revealing the set soon. There’s something interesting about the description. It states “set also includes a booklet about the designer and the animated Pixar movie” so does that mean the movie is included or is the booklet about both the designer and the movie?
Update: And it’s been taken off Amazon.
Build, display and role play with WALL-E! Construct the LEGO Ideas version of WALL-E with posable neck, adjustable head and arms, gripping hands, opening trunk and rolling tracks. Build a beautifully detailed LEGO version of WALL-E -the last robot left on Earth! Created by Angus MacLane, an animator and director at Pixar Animation Studios, and selected by LEGO Ideas members, the development of this model began alongside the making of the lovable animated character for the classic Pixar feature film. It has taken almost a decade to perfect the LEGO version, which incorporates many authentic WALL-E characteristics, including a posable neck, adjustable head, arms that move up and down and side to side, plus gripping hands and rolling tracks. With a trunk that opens and closes, you can tidy up the planet one pile of garbage at a time! This set also includes a booklet about the designer and the animated Pixar movie.
- Move the arms up and down and side to side
- Open and close the trunk
- Includes a booklet about the designer and the animated Pixar movie
- The perfect gift for LEGO and WALL-E fans of all ages
- Measures over 7″ (18cm) high, 6″ (16cm) long and 6″ (16cm) wide

This is some poor timing in my opinion. I think a lot of people are going to want the Star Wars sets that are coming out on the 4th. I like Wall-E as much as the next guy but I’m more excited to see the Episode VII Star Wars sets.
LEGO Has been giving out to many ideas. Now i can’t spend my time on what should i get for my birthday, cyber monday, and christmas. There are so many cool sets coming out.
Bummer, looks like it’s already pulled
the leaked pictures show no sign of a movie so I would assume it was just some poor wording on behalf of the press release people. Not that I’m not hoping to death there is a movie included tho!
I thought for some reason this was $39.99 or $49.99. $59.99 is a lot of money for this. I wanted it, but that price point sucks.
I think the price point is right on, considering the size of the set (over 7″ tall) and the fact that it’s a Disney/Pixar property.
Not right on, and apparently TLG agrees. $49.99 is the correct retail price. Legos already cost enough; don’t let TLG know we’re fine with paying even more for the same thing. I can make a 7″ tall LEGO set using only a few bricks. Piece count and unique parts/new molds mean much more.
