The LEGO Marvel Super Heroes The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Electro Minifigure Polybag (5002125) is now listed on the Toys R Us website. It’s not available for yet but it does have a price of $3.99. I haven’t heard anything from my peoples about it yet but it seems that it could be a promotional polybag in the near future. We first reported on the Electro polybag back in October but it’s finally shown up on the TRU website. I’ll let you know how to get it as soon as I hear anything.

I love the irony in this. One day this finally is shown for retail and the next day? Boom, the franchise is dead. I thought the movie was enjoyable so I’ll pick this guy up but… it’s very funny to me. (for those who haven’t heard, Spider-man will be joining the Marvel Studio’s Cinematic Universe. Sony and Marvel made a deal to share the character! So it’s pretty much official that Sony’s The Amazing Spider-man franchise is dead. Although there are rumors that Sony will make spinoff movies of the series? Probably not true)
