i dont know who that silver knight guy is in the aaron set, but he looks awesome. its a bummer the set is not worth the price and its a really ugly set (mostly aaron’s vehicle)
I have always disliked this theme. I ended up getting a few of the bad guys from year one because they looked cool and fit in with the fantasy castle theme.
This wave looks a lot cheesier and the purple is awful. (Black demon figure looks to be only one of maybe three figures I’d get)
Normally I’d say ‘whatever, I just won’t buy this theme’, but it’s got to be blocking a real castle theme, so I can only hope this theme dies as quickly as possible.
I don’t know, lego has a strong history of classic castle lines, so I’ve been okay with them doing this for a while. If they choose to make this long term, I’d hope they’d eventually release a normal castle at some point.
I only like the bad guys, and some of the sci fi pieces. Not enough to buy any of the higher price point sets though.
i’m holding out hope for the forest/sea monsters still. they look pretty damn good… I was worried when the book of monsters became a cloud, because the forest and sea monsters come from the book pages… but for whatever reason the cloud turned back into a book at the end of season 3, which doesn’t make sense, but whatever… as long as they get around to making those other monster types before it gets canned. it’s a weird theme, but at least we’re getting a lot of interesting pieces out of it…

there’s a lot more forest/sea monsters in varying sizes… i’d hate to see so many unique designs go to waste.
That’s what I liked about the Nexo designs. Way more variety than the Ninjago stuff. They just seemed to be too locked into a single element per two waves.
I only like the bad guys too, and some of the sci fi pieces. Not enough to buy any of the higher price point sets though.
No new books with Nexo Knights, I really liked those. Do Elves still come with the books?
very irritating that they never made all the books… pretty sure they’re only doing like, 6/10 of those forbidden power pieces too, since all the summer sets reuse the same parts as before.
Can’t wait for the stone colossus of ultimate destruction!!!:)
