LEGO Star Wars 2014 Official Images Revealed

The first of what will be a lot of images of the 2014 LEGO Star Wars sets have surfaced courtesy of Brickadeer on Eurobricks. The first four sets that see are General Grievous’ Wheel Bike (75040), Vulture Droid (75041), Droid Gunship (75042), and the AT-AP (75043). I’ll keep this post updated as more images come out in the very near future.

Update #1: Brickadeer has posted a few more sets including next year’s Battle Packs. One thing to notice are the spring loaded missiles that will be used instead of the overly used flick-fire missiles.

Update #2: Bol.com has posted images of the back of the boxes.

Death Star Troopers? More like Awesome Troopers!!!! Um, I get the Utapau Troopers are supposed to be shooting at that robot thing but it looks like they are shooting at each other. Haha.

I am very curious to see who the third minifigure is in this iteration of the Vulture Droid set. He appears to be wielding an old musket? Something years in the future and here someone dons the Spanish Armada helmet to go with an ancient rifle against rockets, shields, lasers and….more lasers.

After looking at my old notes, I think the minifig in the Vulture Droid set is a Neimoidian Warrior. http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Neimoidian_Gunnery_Battalion

I’d say you are right on the money!

Aside from a couple of these sets, all of them make great army builders. Nice amount of characters and vehicles perfect for filling up the battlefield. While I do see a few redos, they do look good! I’m really curious to fiddle around with the new spring launched weapons.

The new blasters seem pretty cool but I’m sort of dissappointed with the wheel bike set due to no new boga mold 🙁

Hey, can anyone tell me which of these sets are based on The Clone Wars series as I tend to avoid those sets and go for the actual fims sets. Thanks

i think that the only one based of the clone wars is the anit-vehicle cannon, but i could be wrong

Thanks, what about the battle on saleucami? Can’t remember seeing that bike thing in the film.

If you can’t pick out the sets that featured in films amongst clone wars sets then maybe it shouldn’t matter
