LEGO has updated their Star Wars minisite with images as well as a video of each of the new 2014 sets. FBTB is reporting that the sets will be pushed back to March because of all the promotion that is going on for The LEGO Movie’s premiere next month. This will mark the first time that the new Star Wars sets will not be released in the Winter. Check out the images of the sets in one of our previous posts.

Unhappiness. But in the last couple years, there have been some Lego lines pushed back where Europe has them out first. I suspect Lego is just experiment with different sales models rather than worried about the movie (or maybe it won’t be released in Europe).
There’s probably some correlation with the Movie and the Star Wars sets. There’s 13 Movie sets out now and LEGO knows that people probably won’t have enough money to buy those and the Star Wars sets at the same time. It’s just business/marketing planning.
The new Star Wars sets are available here in the UK
As are all of the movie sets. The US will get the film first though!
