Toys R Us stores will be holding an event on October 18th from 12-2pm for kids to building the LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes Bat-Signal. There’s nothing much to the build but it is on a turntable piece and the printed Batman logo radar dish is pretty rare since it’s only in one set, The Batcave (6860). Supplies are limited so get there early if you want in on the building event. I can’t stress enough how long these lines get especially at TRU stores where there’s only a small amount of sets given out. It also looks like it is a US only event.

Do they ever question you if you’re without a kid? This is the first build event I’ve been interested in going too but alas I’m kidless.
Sometimes you get lucky and find employees who don’t care but some will be strict on the rules. Doesn’t hurt to ask.
I went to the second Emmet’s Fly Car event with my bf. The employees didn’t seem to care about our lack of children. We’re both 34.
On the other hand, my bf will be away for this next event, and I’m not sure I want to go alone.
I go to every event and have never been turned away. I’m 27. Some parents give you looks but whatevs.
