LEGO has just revealed some of the exclusives that will be sold at San Diego Comic Con 2016 with the Super Heroes BrickHeadz. These sets are just previews of the full line which will be coming in 2017. Each set will be sold each day at SDCC for $40 each.
In order to purchase the sets at the LEGO booth (2829), attendees must go to the Pavilion Terrace to participate in a random drawing to qualify to buy which begins as early as 7am each day. If you qualify, you take your voucher to the LEGO booth and make your purchase there.
Thursday – Batman and Joker

Friday – Doctor Strange and Black Panther

Saturday – Superman and Wonder Woman

Sunday – Captain America and Iron Man

So, I’m a little bit confused on this because the article in USA today used the term “limited edition” preview packs. So does that mean that these sets will somehow be slightly different from what will be offered to the public next year or is this just an early release to attendees? As much as I love my LEGO, I just want to know to see if it will be worth waiting in line for at SDCC with all the other booths that I also want to buy stuff from. Any idea on this?
The preview sets might be slightly different from next year’s stuff like the packaging and probably extra parts to make it an exclusive.
Cool. Thanks. Probably will camp out. Maybe I’ll see you in line…lol.
