LEGO Winter 2017 Rumored Set List

It’s about that time of the year when we start hearing about next year’s LEGO sets and it looks like CM4Sci and others over on Eurobricks has a list of rumored Winter 2017 sets from a number of LEGO themes. There’s also talks of some of the movies sets next year including The LEGO Batman Movie and The LEGO Ninjago Movie.

A lot of the sets listed do not have set names and if they do, they’re not 100% accurate as they are probably translated. The pricing listed are in Euros. As usual, keep in mind that these are purely rumors until they are confirmed by a approved source such as LEGO’s servers, Amazon, or an online toy shop.

  • David4

So City gets a Pizza Van and Friends gets a Pizza Place?

    Jestro’s Monstrous Monster Vehicle
    Best name ever!

  • Justin Hoar

So basically another year that I will be broke

    • Joefish1

      Lol isn’t that every year?

  • Ludwig Jidström

    Any new Exclusives set? 🙂
UCS Star Wars, Marvel, DC or other?

Do you have any information about that? 🙂

Cant wait for the LEGO Batman movie sets!!

    • Jeff

Maybe the Phantom set is a UCS… Not sure why else we would get another one of those so soon…

      • WaltDisneyV2

What Phantom would it be, though?

        • Jeff

In Canon there is only one ship called the Phantom, and it docks on the Ghost.

          • WaltDisneyV2

That’s what I thought, but I can’t quite see that as a UCS.

          • Dante

It’s actually a better version than the last one with a blind kanan and grand admiral thrawn

          • Jeff

          • Dante

            Look at just2goods channel

          • Peter

Well now people will buy it for the minifigs!

          • Dante

True, especially since the ghost wasn’t the most coolest looking vehicle in the first place. I mean, I want me a thrawn fig

  • Ambrose Howard

    Sounds interesting.

  • Gomek

I just hope not every one of the Batman sets has batman in it. Not sure what I’m going to do with 15 more Batman figures.

    • Tereglith

We already know that the Joker’s Low-Rider set has Batgirl in it. I suspect they’ll give every set a member of the extended Bat-Family and leave Bats himself to maybe four or five. It seems like the movie will feature a BATB-style canon deep dive, so we could see, like, Batwoman, Ace the Bat-Hound, the Batmen of All Nations, and all sorts of other stuff holding down the fort in different sets.

  • Tereglith

After the Tartakovsky Clone Wars series got a set last year, anything is possible.

    • Jeff

Except this will be an actual Canon set.

      • Tereglith

Yeah I know. I was just saying that if they’re willing to adapt a non-canon cartoon from 2004, it shouldn’t be a surprise they’re still willing to adapt a canon cartoon from 2014. It’s pretty neat that they’re making something from the Netflix-exclusive Lost Episodes, too.

I wonder if Yoda will have a CW head or the standard head?

    • Вадим

      Which one was that?

  • Tereglith

One of those SW buildable figures had better be Boba Fett.

Still no Cloud City… *sigh*. Lando from ROTJ is cool, but Lando from ESB is cooler.

Looking forward to seeing more Architecture skylines. I wonder if/how they’ll do the London Eye at that scale. We’ll also probably get both Big Ben and the Sydney Opera House in a third scale.

  • regeekery – JD

ROTJ Lando set? f–k yeah, must have it, I don’t care what the context of it is

  • Huh?!?

Need to add the previously announced (3) DC and (3) Marvel mighty micros sets as well as Hulk vs. Red Hulk set to this list

  • The Anonymous Hutt

Wow! This actually looks pretty promising!

Architecture sounds like it might be okay.

City looked good…until I saw “Police Station.” :/

The three girl themes are girl themes, though I might still appreciate the building style.

    Marvel: Awesomeness

It looks like Minecraft is getting some much needed things, but what’s a Nether Train? :/

Nexo Knights and Ninjago are both going to be similar to old sets.

Star Wars: More build-able figures? More mighty micros? I’d rather have more of those planet sets they released a few years back. Meanwhile, the main sets look intriguing. The battle packs were expected, but what is the set called, “Rogue One?” Is it maybe Slave 1? It will probably feature Darth Vader. We just got Obi-Wan’s starfighter, we don’t need another one. I already own a Landspeeder, so I’m not too impressed with that set. Isn’t the Phantom a small ship in Rebels? Didn’t they already make that? Duel of the fates look like it will be terrible judging by the price. No good Duel of the Fates set can be that cheap. WHAT’S THE DESERT SKIFF? I’m pretty sure that was in ROTJ as an escort to Jabba’s Barge. How is that $40?! Is it possible the Lando set is the same as this one? Is it also possible that it maybe IS an ESB set? You said the list might not be completely accurate.

Technic has been around for 40 years? Huh. Never noticed.

15 Batman sets! I thought there were around 5. 😛

I don’t really care about the LNM, so I don’t care for the sets.

I have one question about all of this: Are there any regular DC sets coming out apart from the Mighty Micros?

    • Deezer Irons

The way I see it, Rogue One could either be a placeholder name (that is, something from the movie) or it could be another X-Wing where the call sign is “Rogue One” (i.e., we’re getting something with Wedge Antilles) in it… but who knows? I’m hoping it’s the later since a $70 Slave One could be a bit lame

      • Deezer Irons

Oops, missed the part about the pricing being in euros, although since they tend to be close, I still could see it not being Slave One

        • The Anonymous Hutt

Well, Slave 1 would be better if it was a $70 set. I’m pretty sure the other ones were around that price. Meanwhile, X-Wings should be 50-70.

  • Jason Bachelor

I guess the Lego Batman Movie sets are going to take the place of any other DC sets (other than the mighty micros).

  • WaltDisneyV2

  • Fred Mayfield

No Creator sets? I’m new to Lego and fell in love with the Palace Cinema, Big Ben, and others like it. Are those released as a specialty item or are there just no new sets planned for 2017?

    • Creator will be there. I just have set numbers for those.

    • Magmafrost13 .

There’s a huge difference between what 2017 sets we currently know about, and what sets will be released in 2017. This list is far from comprehensive.

  • Adbrican

I hope they do other DC sets and not just the LEGO Batman ones

  • magpie9

Duel of the Fates could be anything. It is the title of a piece of star wars music and he used it in all three prequel movies. be interesting to find out what it will be.

    • I’m guessing it’ll be based on the Qui-Gon vs. Darth Maul final battle in Phantom Menace.

  • OhioBricker

Can’t wait for the Creator sets.

  • jermain burnett

Can not for the new Lego set for 2017 and I hope new Lego set are better.

  • Jason

    Googenheim museum again?

  • 2017 will be the year of the Ninjas!

  • Beeboy 1950-8346-6194

Well, looks like historical themes like Castle and Pirates are still a no-go. Just great…

I want the pizza van, but why more police sets?! They saw the popularity of Fun in the Park, why don’t they do a hospital, post office, grocery store, school to name a few.

  • Lionblaze

    Images I for releaee date?

  • Hey! Who’s gonna replace both Bionicle and Mixels?!

  • Ryan

I was hoping for more City Train sets, seems like I am out of luck.
