There are a couple new 2014 LEGO Creator polybags that have appeared on Brickset’s database and have gotten people excited, the Race Car (31017) and the Monkey (31019). The Race Car is mostly orange and has a Le Mans Prototype feel to it. It can rebuilt into a Kenworth cabover diesel truck. The Monkey polybag (31019) is comprised of the monkey, a banana, and a toucan. From the reactions I’ve been seeing around the interwebs, this looks to be a hot-selling polybag. The set names are not the official names, just placeholders until LEGO releases the official names. There’s no word yet on how to get these new polybags.

I kinda get the feeling these aren’t polybags…. if not normal boxed sets maybe the plastic box 7 buck creator sets… the truck/race car one looks like the 2nd manual with the 2 alt builds of a set to me and the monkey is just too many parts for a normal poly… also the set numbers follow the current 2013 line up of sets not polys in the creator line… all polys this year have been 300xx/301xx/302xx… this is 310xx… 31000 is the current small creator plastic tub race car…
