Yesterday was the Bricktober LEGO Star Wars Build & Take event at Toys R Us for the midi-scale BB-8. For those who weren’t able to go, a reader named Dennis has generously provided a PDF of the build so you can build your own. Honestly, this version of BB-8 is fairly ugly, especially the head area, but there’s really no other way to do it.
The newest LEGO Ideas set to be released is the Women of NASA (21312) which is based on the project of the same name introduced by Maia Weinstock, aka 20tauri. The set has 231 pieces and will retail for $24.99. The set celebrates some notable researchers and explorers in NASA’s long history.
Official images of some of the new 2018 LEGO City sets came out today and eagle-eyed fans may have noticed some implied continuity with one of the sets. If you look closely at the family, they may look somewhat familiar. That is because the mother and father appear to be the same minifigures as the ones in the 2016 Fun in the Park – City People Pack (60134), minus the color swap on the mother’s pants. The baby, however, looks to be grown up now and is enjoying the outdoors with his parents!
The continuity theory is interesting for LEGO to throw in because since we grow up with these sets, it’s nice that the sets also grow up with us as well. I do look forward to seeing more continuity in future LEGO City sets. Maybe next year we can see the child as an adult and the parents be older adults.
In our last set of reveals of the official images of the 2018 sets, we now have a few of them for LEGO Creator. To be honest, I do like the look of the Drone Explorer and the Modular Skate House. I’ll keep this list going as more sets are revealed.

Last week we saw official images of one of the LEGO City 2018 sets and now we have more sets to show. LEGO has uploaded a few of the new LEGO City 2018 sets on their servers in anticipation of the sets being sold soon. There is another Police set as well as some Great Vehicles along with it I’ll keep this list going as more sets are revealed.

As we get ever so closer to the release of LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2, there are still more characters that are still being revealed on social media. Some of the latest playable characters include Venom 2099, Red She-Hulk, Darkhawk, and Hit-Monkey. There’s probably a lot more that have been subtlely revealed during the past couple of livestreams but I’m not going to search for them.
Some of these characters may sound pretty obscure to casual comic book fans but that’s one of the major selling points of LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2. We most likely won’t see 99% of thm in LEGO minifigure form but at least we get to play them in the game.
