You may not believe it but the LEGO Minecraft theme is a pretty popular one and there will be another wave coming in 2018. There are now official images of the sets that will be coming out in January.
Another day, another “reveal” for the 2018 LEGO sets as we now have the box art images for the next wave of The LEGO Batman Movie. We’ve already seen the sets in detail last week but it’s also nice to look at the boxes to gauge how big the sets are.

The LEGO Architecture Shanghai (21039) has been officially revealed and will be available globally starting on January 1. The Shanghai Disneyland LEGO Store will have it available on December 2 and Jamie Berard will be on hand to sign the sets. The building that are represented in the skyline-style include:
-Longhua Temple
-Radisson Hotel Shanghai New World and the Bund
-Oriental Pearl TV Tower
-Shanghai World Financial Center
-Shanghai Center Building
Back in August, I talked about some LEGO 60th anniversary sets and it looks like we get to see the official images of the sets with the theme called Building Bigger Thinking. As mentioned before, there will be five sets and they have builds that pay homage to a classic LEGO theme such as Space, Castle, Pirates, and Town which you can see from the images. You’ll also notice that they also include a 60 year printed 2×4 tile to signify the 60th anniversary of the brick.

World of Games has uploaded new official box art images of the 2018 LEGO Ninjago sets based on the Sons of Garmadon storyline. We’ve already seen the set images but it’s nice to see the box art. There’s also one set that we haven’t seen yet called the Temple of Resurrection (70643). I’ll add the images to my main post for the 2018 LEGO Ninjago sets.
World of Games has posted set listings and official images of the 2018 LEGO Star Wars sets which is probably the most anticipated theme. The Microfighters are returning and there’s some new two packs for them. Also coming back are the Buildable Figures which look very nice. The main thing in this wave are the Star Wars: The Last Jedi sets so read on if you’re not afraid of spoilers read on but I’ll hide the images behind the spoiler tag just to be safe.

World of Games has posted set listings and official images of the 2018 LEGO Friends sets. There’s a lot going on for next year as you get more specialized things for each of the girls including rooms for some of them.
