LEGO Ideas Singles’ Day My, Myself, and I Fan Vote Live for Future GWP Set

The LEGO Ideas Singles’ Day My, Myself, and I fan vote is now live and you can vote which set you want as a future gift with purchase set. There are 15 finalists and fans have only one vote to pick your favorite one. The premise of the contest was to build something people do by themselves using a maximum of 250 bricks. Too bad LEGO has to choose only one because a lot of them are really good. The deadline to vote is only one week on July 11 so get your voices heard.

LEGO Icons Eldorado Fortress (10320) Now Available on LEGO Shop

One of the more anticipated days of the month is here and I’m not talking about Independence Day. The LEGO Icons Eldorado Fortress (10320) is now available for purchase on the LEGO Shop. The set retails for $214.99 and is a tribute for the 1989 set of the same name. Unfortunately, there are no promotions going alongside it and it’ll probably be temporarily sold out by the time the next one comes around. LEGO Not Part of San Diego Comic Con 2023 Exclusives Portal (For Now?)

The San Diego Comic Con 2023 exclusives portal is now live and it doesn’t look like LEGO will have any exclusives for sale this year. We’re still a few weeks away from the event and there’s still time for companies to add themselves to the list since we have until July 16 to submit our entries but so far, it’s not looking promising. There’s a chance that they could do something directly at their booth but that would be a mess and I can already hear the security say “you can’t stand here, keep moving.”

The last time that LEGO did any exclusives was back in 2019 before the pandemic closed everything down the year after. Back then, they had a few exclusives that lucky fans were able to purchase as well as minifigures that were given away at random. LEGO did sell their exclusives online in 2020 at various retailers and they went rather quickly with some of them managing to restock a few times. Other than that, it’s been quiet the past few years and it looks to be the same this year. Again, I’ve heard that they were done with exclusives altogether because of the reselling that people do during the con and they weren’t happy with that but that’s just a rumor that was relayed to me a few times.

LEGO Disney 100 Years Celebration (40600) Sold Out Online – North America

In less than a day, the LEGO Disney 100 Years Celebration (40600) gift with purchase set has sold out on the LEGO Shop here in North America. In fact, it lasted less than 12 hours after it went live 24 hours ago. I’m also hearing that LEGO Stores didn’t get much in stock either so that makes the set rather rare. As a result, the price of the set on the secondary market is starting to slowly reflect that as prices are heading up to $70 on it.

It’s not really that surprising since LEGO released two new popular Disney sets that qualified for it including the Disney Hocus Pocus – The Sanderson Sisters’ Cottage (21341) and the Disney Castle (43222) with the former already in backorder status shipping in 60 days. We’re not sure if LEGO has more of the Disney 100 Years Celebration for a future release since they tend to re-release them again months later.

LEGO Marvel Visual Dictionary Amazon Pre-Order Live

Amazon has recently put up the product page for the upcoming LEGO Marvel Visual Dictionary which includes the exclusive Iron Man Armor Model 64 minifigure. The paperback version lists the minifigure is included with but the hardcover version doesn’t show it, however, the images in the middle of the product page seeming shows that the hardcover does have it.

If I have to guess, I would say that both will have the minifigure but I cannot guarantee it. I took the chance and ordered the hardcover just to see. The book will be released on September 19 and it is eligible for returns/replacements within 30 days so there’s no harm.
